Midsummer NiGHTopia [open, and still accepting characters, humans now avalible]

"Of course we are! Let's go!" SPiTE called out to Eva "Our first stop will be the dream gate, paraloop us there Eva!" SPiTE commanded knowing little on each of his partners today but enough to make them do small tasks and quint strategies. Puc knew Eva didn't want to go through with this, curse her loyalty.....

Meanwhile at the dream gate, Vaye awoke from her slumber, surprised that nothing had disturbed her sound rest. She looked around the dense covered forest area, the many doors, and the dream gate itself; no one was around. She must have gotten tired from Owl's stories to vulnerable here. it would be best to leave before anyone else appeared, but maybe it would be more fun, to hide and see who shows up.

Eva made a portal to the Dream Gate with a glorious fake smile, growing slightly purturbed at this bratty attitude she's recieveing. Honestly...even with such an unusual situation about, you think this stranger would still retain enough common sense to know to behaive like a good boy so he doesn't get punched in the mouth. With a slight twitch on the side of her mouth going off, Eva glided through her portal, waiting on the other side for Puc to arrive as well. Oh..and what's his name.
...She hoped the General is doing alright..

Everything that happened.....everything Reala wanted to be rid off....destroy....and hate....that purple jester with that joyful smile, Reala hated NiGHTS, that was all he was going to believe, it just had to be this way. For power, only power was the way to be and the way to dominate, he couldn't just slack off, he had a reputation to keep, he had to prove to himself NiGHTS means nothing, only surviving Wizeman destroying victims....was his traits.
He found himself back at the dream gate, where NiGHTS.....saved him.....He let out a yell....it couldn't be forgotten.

Puc and SPiTE followed through the paraloop, Puc would be careful of Reala's skills, knowing that he can move at a quick pace, would make it difficult to bring him down. SPiTE licked his lips, he would soon bring Reala to justice and prove his power of Nightmaren. They exited out landing on their feet on the cobble stone ring around the fountain. SPiTE laughed, "I thought you would fly farther Reala, by orders of Wizeman, we've come for your arrest."

Eva looked over Reala for a breif moment before lowering her gaze to her tighly clutched hands, cemented together at her waist. How would Reala take such an order.....honorably as he always has? With dignity as he always has? With respectful grace as he always has? Eva...didn't know. For once, she didn't know....but whatever it takes, she did know, is what they have to do.
...She really didn't want to be here, it felt almost..embarassing.

"So, decided to bring your own band together in honor of Wizeman's words. I'm grateful." Reala spoke out in his confident tone, SPiTE was not a threat, but having Eva be pulled into this was, oh well, it is a lesson to be learned when those you admire soon become public enemies. He flew at a quick pace to stand in front of Eva without the others noticing. "A pleasure to see you once again Eva." SPiTe was unsure by Reala's actions, but it was obviously a trap. Puc however....got jealous. "Leave her alone he called out as he raced towards Reala, who was ablke to grab hold of Puc and jump back."
"Seems this arrest is now a hostage situation." Reala yelled, as he kept his grip on Puc who tried with his might to escape, but with no chance.

Being addressed personally really surprised Eva...especially seeing how quickly Reala had appraoched her. It made her mind go blank, staring into his face, cheeks light pink, but seeing him reach out for some colorful blur got her mind back on track. Right...t-there was still work do be done! Her eyes followed Reala as he landed gracefully with something entangled in his possesion..and seeing what that something was...Eva's heart stoped..
"PUC!" Eva cried out quickly, finding it painfull to watch him struggle to free himself so helplessly. Take Puc as a hostage? But why?? There isn't any need for this! Master is only thinking conciderately on Reala's behaivor! At least....that's what the nobody had said...

SPiTE began to approach Reala, this was child's play if he thinks one puny nightmaren would prevent him from attacking, as he got closer, Reala spoke again, "I suggest stopping, unless you don't care what happens this boy. Maybe you should know what to hers think of this before proceeding, right Eva?" Although it was cruel, using Puc as bait should lure Eva to stop SPiTE's attack, enough time to escape. However, no one counted in the shy nightmaren in hiding, watching this situation in discontent.

Eva didn't know what move to make, any wrong decision might result in Puc getting injured, seeing as Reala had limited options and places to be.
Eva looked at SPiTE with a hard stare. "Would kindly stop being so rash and think of your ally's wellbeing??" Eva ordered, dismayed to be placed in such a position. "Honestly, what honor is there in challenging someone that can snap the likes of you in half?"
She really hoped this nobody would shape up soon...the General probably already had an escape plan ready to use that didn't involve injuring his hostage, but if this nut-job provokes him to...whatever actions Reala chooses can't be helped.
Oh Puc...forgive her hesitance...

"I didn't need allies!" SPiTE yelled out as he began to laugh at Eva's wording, "Wizeman told me to bring you two along, so you're just accomplices." SPiTE care less about that hostage, the only trouble will be to get to Reala, and knowing Reala, could easily just use his Hostage as a shield, or even worse....a weapon.
"I don't have time for this..." Reala spoke out, "you'll only get hurt if you plan to continue this, let me be...." Puc stopped struggling, he had to find his own way to escape....but how?

Eva hated to waste someone like Reala's time, but...as little as she wanted to believe...they still have to restrain and recover him. "...Sir-" Eva started, finding the out-of-place sensation reeling back up her spine, "...We are all deeply regretful for altering your schedule in such a bothersome way, but I am terribly affraid to say that Master is worried on your apparent behavior change. He only sent us here in compasion for your wellbeing.." Eva trailed off, it was humiliating and embarassing to try to request something like a short trip to Wizeman against Reala's already intended wishes, she knew such ideas would only bring shame to her name.
Eva looked back to Puc, depressed to see him give up on his freedom. ...If something like this makes her hesitant to move to his aid...does she even deserve to have Puc with her..?

"I'm sorry Eva, but I can not accept that request." Reala said honestly. "Wizeman has kept me impatient, I respect him as our ruler and as our master, but when times come for selfish demands, the choice is made to give them up.....or give up everything else." Reala trailed off, As he reached to grab Puc's neck, a sound came from the forest, the rustling of bushes Vaye didn't want this to happen, she had to do something, as Reala said...give up everything else.

Eva didn't fully understand what Reala ment, but seeing his hand begin a coarse to Puc's neck only made her want to rush forward and stop it, throw herself in the way even..as long as it ment Puc wouldn't be...
She had almost got a full inch in motion too before hearing the strange noise. The noise of an unintended audience, whether it be one, or many. The noise of someone acting in sync with her thoughts, but faster to put them in motion. The noise of someone who doesn't want to watch another go through something so horrible....but was brave enough to voice their opinion.
Eva looked around through the trees but, to her dismay, couldn't see anything that resembled a figure. ..Whatever is out there...it's probably just supplying her with false hope...

Reala heard a noise in the forest, turning himself and Puc in that direction, he was curious to know what had been snooping this entire time, and for what reason. SPiTE knew this would be the perfect opportunity to hit them both while they're distracted, SPiTE rushed, about to hit Reala, dodged out of the way of a thrown object, a leaf thrown at a rapid speed, and SPiTE was now in its path, being scrapped across the horn, he let out a yell before holding his wound. Reala retreated to the forest, still keeping Puc hostage, Vaye, soon followed after.

Eva bolted after Puc, not sure what might happen to him with this sudden appearance of a possible enemy. Leaving SPiTE to whine about his paper-cut injury with no second thought, Eva hurried to catch back up to Puc and his annoyed captor, concerned for the wellbeing of both of them, yes...but truely..her heart was aching to have Puc back...
Eva felt horrible for letting such things happen to Puc...hasn't he already been through enough? All he has left in life is what hasn't been removed, which is barely anything worth mentioning from what Eva figured, and even now...Puc is being taken away with the one person Eva has seen be violent with him...only accompanied by a persuer.
"Puc?!" Eva called out looking dismally around to nothing but dark wood and green, shining leaves. She couldn't believe it...had she lost him...?

Puc wasn't able to escape in time, being pulled against his will, knocked the wind of him, forcing his struggle to escape to die off, and Puc laying limp in Reala's arm, only hoped for this chase to end. Reala wanted to bait this target out, however they were, were talented at long range attacks, began a chase where trees and bushes hide shadows, it would be easy to take cover from any of this enemy's ranged attacks. Vaye kept her distance, She knew who she was against in the scheme of things, but wasn't going to let Reala's reputation scare her.

"..Mind telling me why you didn't notify me like I asked?" Exo asked with a strict tone, but still trying to show his younger sibling compassion.
"I would have notified you on Eva's return, but...Eva had only just arrived a short while we got up...and she only came by to talk with Puc again." Exo grumbled and shook his head in fustration. "Piglet, Piglet, Piglet.." Exo mocked with a roll of the eyes, making his way back to his resting quarters. "I'm tired of hearing about Piglet..."

The chase continued with a rapid pace through the forest, gliding past the vegetation and not hesitating, not even to breath. Vaye had yet to start using a weapon again, the vast growth of the forest provided a shield for Reala, he would have to try to match his speed, a risky option, but one that might be taken into account.
As the chase progressed, Owl swooped down from the sky, the noise had startled him and he demanded to know answers, flapping his wings, he guided to Eva, "My word, what is with all this commotion?"

Eva just wanted to ignore Owl, but she was alone out here, unsure of her location, and losing ground on the one she wanted to help as soon as possible. "..There is a possible obstreperous meance out there..." Eva breathed out quickly, still looking around. "...And they are pursuing my allies...I need to locate them....I need to locate them..." Eva was just mumbiling to herself now; she had no way to find them. The noises had died away from her, and the tree tops were too thick for her to see well through...but Eva didn't think much of all that. Things always work themselves out in the end....she'll find a way...she must. ...Puc is one of the best things that has ever happened to Eva...she has to find him again.

Sneaking back into Puc's room as Exo remained utterly clueless yet again, Chive looked around. This room...he didn't know why....but he felt unwelcome here. Oh well, Chive's stay in this room would be nothing but a breif in-and-out trip. Chive moved over to Puc's bed. By following the pattern of Eva's behavior, Chive guessed she'd be staying in here again tonight...and since he was never able to speak with her lately...he really hoped she got to this thing first.
Chive leaned over, gently placing a silky black enevelope on one of the pillows. If Chive couldn't say it face to face, he'd say it print to paper. Now finished with his task, he did a quick look-around once more before hurring back out, leaving the lights dark, and a black rectangle standing out in nothing but lonely white.

Owl was surprised to see Eva's emotion, different from most nightmarens who acted on commands then their own thoughts, Eva....was obviously afraid, afraid of what she could do....to ever see Puc again, "I know you are afraid dear." Owl began as he flew away, "But have fate, if there's no other choice."
SPiTE stood up again, his pain had faded, but his rage still burned. "Don't expect me to thank you for staying behind." SPiTE said jokingly, "Letting the target and our teammate get away, once I get them back, I report on your choices, Wizeman will be upset with you." SPiTE teased Eva again as he glided into the woods, far behind on the chase.

Although Owl is still someone Eva will never come to for help, she had to admit...he is a wise bird, even if he still desperately lacks an off switch. Strangely...she felt a little bit more confident too...but that sense of security killed over instantly, having SPiTE share his piece of mind.
Eva was enraged. Stay behind for the likes of HIM? HA! Never has she heard such a hillarious statement! That nobody...whatever his name is...he needs to be knocked off that high pedestal he's on and get a clue. Eva was completely ashamed to think that her actions would upset her precious Master, but those feelings only fueled the fire inside her.
If this nuisance thinks he can just disregard the safety of fellow Nightmaren and then try to blame her for recklessness...he's in for a rude awakening. Despite being much use, Eva took off high above the trees...hopeing that maybe...no...she will find them.

Reala would have to end this game of cat and mouse soon enough, he had to find NiGHTS in all of this sidetracking, but would first have to get rid of this tailgater and Puc as well. shooting back would give them more distance, but he couldn't injure his hostage, Puc was only bait and nothing more. Vaye was catching up, now only a few feet away from, levitating off the ground, her instinct was coming back, slowly, Wizeman did take her powers, but as long as she had her power source, it could be recharged. She held her hands together hoping the forest would listen, and stop this chase.

Eva stopped for moment, halting her flight in mid air...something feels off. Eva looked down at the trees below her, and studying them all with concerned eyes, she gazed across the endless strech of trees within her view. Eva didn't like this one bit...she hoped her feelings were just more mere paranoia..

Reala heard a noise, the trees rustled, and with little time Reala dodged being hit by....branches? They didn't seem that close before, it made his eyes widen to see the branches come at him like spears, carrying Puc made it hard to dodge, how was this happening. This was an area Reala had never been in before, its seems this far in the forest, gave traps to trespassers, and in his thoughts trying to understand all this, a branch wrapped around his leg and pulled him down, causing Puc to hit the ground and tumble over to a nearby tree, that cushioned his fall.

The sounds of cracking wood and rustling leaves drifted to Eva. ...All that noise is quite a ruckus...could all that possibly be where Puc has been taken to..? Eva didn't like the images she was picturing of what the source all the noise must look like, but turning towards the direction of it all with a strong face, she changed her flight towards it, and began to soar in that way.
Goodness....they certainly have traveled a lot of ground in such a short time..

"Please admit defeat, you can't escape these trees." Vaye told Reala as she walked closer, happy to know that the nature of dream gate replied to her requests,
"I don't plan on giving up that easily..." Reala began as he snickered, "I can be patient, seeing as if I'm released from this trap, I'll continue on my way. But, you still have my hostage to worry about, keeping him here will attract others, do you plan on taking him with you? Or wait till you're caught as well?" Reala could tell who this nightmaren was, though not by name, this was the nightmaren that almost made the dream gate, a fortress.
