Midsummer NiGHTopia [open, and still accepting characters, humans now avalible]

"Why is this not working....?" Puc thought to himself, none of Eva's memories was leaving him and returning him....as if he was.....stunned? But how? "You're plans are set on pause Puc!" Reala yelled at him, holding his arms in a stance that made him glow the same color as Puc's finger tips. "A spell cancel??" Puc questioned, and then notice that Wizeman was channeling the power to him. How dare they.... "Eva!" Reala called to her, "Free yourself from him, so we can end his little rat race!"

Eva saw it now, Puc had been cornered...how impressive. Following as she was told Eva tried to free herself, but disorented from Puc's strategy, the best she could do is put her hands on his shoulders and push away. She still didn't understand Puc's actions, but between him and Reala, she had to go with the one who wasn't trying to fool her. Good ol' trusty Reala.

He was trapped, Puc had more opponent's now, and it makes it more difficult to fight back, it would be easier to take out Reala now. Just because Wizeman was channeling doesn't mean that same aura would protect Reala. Puc froze time and resumed, kicking Reala in the gut. However, Reala laughed, and took the attack still keeping his form, why was he smiling. "Checkmate!!!" SPiTE shouted from the entrance of the main chamber, detaching his hands, holding Puc's legs pulling him towards a wall and keeping him locked like a magnet to a refrigerator. Puc tried to move, but could not budge, he was captured again.....with little chance of escaping...

Eva put a hand up to where Puc's fingers had been, rubbing her fingers across the spots each finger had touched, each small spot pleasently warm. Really...what had his plan been? If he hadn't bothered messing with her, he might have accomplished his goal of defeating Wizeman by now...what an ignorant move. She drifted closer just a bit and stared at Puc with curious eyes. What is it about him that was so interesting? Why is he suddenly not frightening anymore?

Puc didn't struggle, he stayed motionless, to be such a fool....like they all said....and to lose his only chance to stop Wizeman......"I'm sorry Eva" He began..... "I never meant to hurt you..... I didn't mean to lie to you..........I was a fool from the start......." Reala approached Puc pushing his head against the wall, grinning, "You could have just stayed in hiding, never be seen by anyone and survive with no trouble to follow you. Heck, you could have lived as happy as a mespian, but gave that up for revenge. Come now, you didn't think you would be strong enough to defeat Wizeman, right?" Puc had no anwser to that question....it was all over.....Lei-Lei....Jackle....Eva.......Forgive me....

Eva glided over to the immobilized Puc and stared at him. "...I don't understand you." she said flatly, putting her hands on her sides. "What lies? When did I get hurt? When was this, "start"?" Puc acted as though he knew Eva personally, but Eva has never even seen his face before. "And-...." but she cut herself off. Eva stared for a long moment at Puc....it HAD to be a mere coincidence...
Moveing her hands up, she unbuttoned her coat, and as she gazed wide-eyed at nothing but black, she found reason to fear Puc once more. "...How did you get my broach?!"

"You gave it to me..." Puc said weakly, "Before you wanted to forget everything......before you wanted to give up all that has gone through with us....." Reala slapped Puc in the face, "Go ahead and keep babbling your fairy tales, she is a loyal servant of Wizeman and will not fall helpless to your words." Puc pushed Reala away, holding out his hand to Eva..."Please Eva...." Puc cried out, "believe me....please...."

Eva couldn't take her eyes off Puc. "...you were that "Quincy" fellow, too...weren't you..." she asked softly, staring from his hand, to her broach. "..you've hunted me down before with these words...."
Eva glided forward and floated just within reach of Puc's hand. "I know you aren't completely lying..." Eva said neutrally, looking at her broach again, "...no one has ever worn my broach besides me...so I must have relinquished it to you...but.." she trailled off, looking at Puc's outstretched hand, "...to have done that...I would have to have some close bond to you...which I have with no one, other than Master." Eva lifted her head and stared into Puc's eyes. "Why am I signifcant to you, traitor?" Eva asked softly, with unblinking eyes....what were these memories that he so egarly wished to return? And if she forgot them....should she even try to rememeber?

"why...... because you were the first to find me....after being exiled....I thought there would be no one else to ever know of my existence....you gave me reason to live once again Eva.....but in end....I lied to you..." Reala stepped away, though he would rather stop Puc from talking, it would be overall Eva's decision, after her loss of interest with this pathetic Nightmaren.

Eva didn't know what to make of this. She still didn't want to believe what Puc was saying...but some details tie in too well to be ignored. She had been told she has been missing for days, days of which Eva has no recolection of even occuring...and from the stories Puc keeps sharing, Eva had apparently been out and about with him doing....doing somthing, she's sure. The fact that what Puc says fits in with her apparent forgotten period of time, Eva couldn't deny that perhaps Puc was indeed....speaking the truth...but even so...why would she befriend an exile?
"Puc....I can't bring myself to say I don't believe any of your words..but I also can't say I believe any of them either. Why would I spend my time with an exile? Answer: I wouldn't. And even if that hadn't been an issue..." Eva stopped herself, her cheeks turning light pink as she moved close enough for a murmur, "..even if we were allies....what was that kiss for!?"

"The kiss.....is a sign of showing someone you want to be close with them.........it is also your weakness..." Puc said sadly, the action of a kiss was never meant to be used against one's advantage, but can be used as a deadly poison. "I couldn't help it, I want to be near you again...."

Eva was truely convinced she didn't want to know what her conncection to Puc was...but she had to ask. To do so much to get a measly friend back is a waste.....so is it possible....that things could have escalated farther than that? No! No...Eva would never allow herself to become so weak! "Just what were you to me?" Eva demanded, backing up. She didn't want to be fooled....but...she feared what could be the truth.

"I was your love, bound to stay close and protect you.....all just to keep staying next to you!" Puc cried out, this interrogation was taking to much out of him. He already didn't have enough strength to kick out of the shackles SPiTE placed on him.... so how.....how would Puc survive another day?

"I believe your welcome has run out Puc..." Wiseman said as he opened his hands, the eyes staring at him. "I appreciate your enthusiasm, however, your blinding power has easily been crushed away, and now you are weak once again....however, I don't plan to exile you....no...You will soon be a member of the Nightopian community, As mespian or even something as small as a flower. Think of it....as an improvement."

Eva backed away and held her arms close.
She stared at Puc, analized him, thought desperately on any thought she might posses to disprove his statement...but she knew nothing...and he knew too much. Hearing Puc's sentence didn't make Eva feel any better either. She didn't want Puc punished yet...she didn't want that yet...there are still too many things she doesn't understand...but it's not like Wizeman would just change his mind if Eva spoke up about her feelings. Puc had caused too much trouble...and just minutes ago, she would have whole-heartedly agreed with him being reduced to a mere Mepian, but now...she had to change this..

"and Eva's memories....." Puc began to speak against Wizeman, raising up on his knees, "You plan to get rid of those along with my existence?" Wizeman responded fast, "They were already meant to disappear, after all, Eva, you begged me to rid you of the memories you had with Puc, but....I will still leave it you to decide....Puc still stays connected to this world because of the attention he has for you. Otherwise, he would have never gotten back here without flight. I ask you now loyal Eva....do you still show signs of compassion to this traitor?"

"I...begged you...did I?" Eva mumbled, looking at her feet, and then her broach-less chest. Eva knew if she flat out denied any compassion to Puc...most likely he'd be as good as dead...but if everything Puc said is true about actually...."loving" him, then...somthing pretty bad must have happened for her to have asked for a memory wipe....especially beg for one. ...Puc did seem to care about her, though....and if he was just to be punished from trying to retrieve her...Eva knew what she had to say.
"Master......" Eva said quietly, facing him and away from Puc...and everyone else for that matter, "although I am clueless as to what any of you know...." Eva took a deep breath and let it out slowly, "I can not say with a clear mind that I wish the traitor to die."

"I understand Eva..." Wizeman as he showed a side of mercy towards Puc, "Puc, though your actions would be charged with cruel penalties, you will leave unharmed....however...to make sure this event does not occur twice, your memories up to your time of exile, will be removed from you, and kept under refrence in case this event occurs in others...." Puc's eyes widen..."You will not erase..... what I have left!!!!" Puc stood to his feet, "I will not go through with this!!!" Reala held Puc to the wall, enjoying Puc's attempt to struggle, "Master Wizeman has given you a second chance, and you plan to ignore his gratitude...accept it, you have no other choice!"

Eva looked over her shoulder and watched as Puc fought back. She felt pitty for him, but what could she do to help? She was already surprised Wizeman had been so generous as to let him keep his body and life....but, Master always gets his point across....one way, or another.
Were the memories he has now truely the only thing Puc has left?

Puc could easily freeze time or yell loud, but none of those moves would help him now. Puc knew what was going to happen, forgetting everything, having his memory ripped from him and being replaced with a new mind set, crafted into yet another one of Wiseman's minions. It was too late now, Wiseman had already begun the process, "This will ease you of your pain..." Wiseman told Puc as he drilled information through him "Your name is Puc, you have recently been relieved of being controlled under my services , you now serve Eva as her servant and Reala as his soldier. You live in the housing of Eva's choosing, and have the abilities of power through song. You will not remember being exiled, falling in love with Eva, or any of the events up to this point....Now Puc, awaken!!"

She didn't know why, but to Eva....for once...it didn't seem right to do somthing like this. She never doubted her Master's word, but this poor Nightmaren had lost everything...and now, he won't even get to keep what he still had. ...a horrible misfortune....but perhaps he could find happiness with this arangement.

Puc opened his eyes, he found himself in Wizeman's chamber, stuck to a wall, why was he set up like this? Did something happen? "Eva, it is best that you take him home now, he has been through enough." Wizeman told her, recreating a scene that Puc could follow, he signaled to SPiTE to let him go. Puc landed on the ground, puzzled by where he was. Lei-Lei, who stood from the entrance during this entire mishap, was the only survivor of this chaos, and the only one who could make things right.

"As you wish, Master." Eva replied lightly, as she lowered into a bow. "Puc," she called, standing back up and floating over to him, "you've had a tiring night. Come with me...I'll see to it you get some rest." Giving a polite bow to Reala, she glided over to the door and waited for Puc to join her.
...Oh, it appears that spider-girl is still alive...good for her.

Puc was unsure what had happened, but he did know that he was now under the guidance of Eva, perhaps he could acknowledge on his blank mind later. All he remembered was begin scolded by Wizeman, and now he's now longer his master. Puc followed Eva, passing by a spider type creature, she looked sad, as she glared at Puc....it still puzzled him.

Eva lead Puc along through Nightmare with no complaints, bringing him to where he would be staying unless he wishes otherwise. "Puc," she started calmly, opening up a bland door, "you will be staying in my chambers with my two siblings and myself. Pay them no mind if you wish; I'll set up your resting quarters when we get inside." Eva stepped through the door into complete and utter darkness, holding her arm out towards Puc. "If you can't see in the dark very well, it would be best to hold onto me, though."

Puc followed Eva, unaware by the transition of the main core of Nightmare to Eva's domain. Looking at Eva's as she offered her hand to him, Puc was unsure what to do, it would be polite to accept her offer, but would that make him seem weak, but then again he couldn't just travel through the dark and expect to find the right path. "okay..." Puc said shyly, as he grabbed for her hand, blushing a little even if he was just holding her glove, he felt connect as he traveled with her through the dark.

"Out of today's events, I do not have the power to transform you at this moment" Wizeman told Lei-Lei as she stood with her palms on her hips. "Shall I keep an eye on our exiled Nightmaren, Master Wizeman?" Reala asked, bowing to Wizeman, having something to do would be better then waiting, even at his master's side. "It is not necessary Reala, we do not need to worry about Puc just yet. There is a chance that he will repeat the same mistakes, but Puc will not have the power to control it and use it to his advantage, he is of no threat to Nightmare." Reala grinned, "sorry my master, I was referring to our...other...exiled maren"
