Midsummer NiGHTopia [open, and still accepting characters, humans now avalible]

Eva drited over one of the trees whose leaves had just halted in movement. Ugh...this is pointless...all these trees look the same from up here! Eva almost couldn't believe she was relying on what could simply be a gust of wind to take her to who she wished was still next to her, but like she had much option in this deserted, bothersome place. With muscles tense and hawk eyes alert, Eva slowly made her way into the leaves, climibing her way down gently through the brances.
It surprised her how far this forest went...anything could lurk beyond the fountain in this mess.

"Go ahead....escape." Vaye told Reala as she walked past him. Reala didn't attack her, he just watched as the strange nightmaren walked towards Puc, kneeling towards him, in interest, she lowered her arms to pick him up, surprisingly light, she carried Puc out of the forest. SPiTE followed a path of broken twigs and scrapped barks, he would soon find Reala, he would soon get rid of Puc.

Eva reached the last of the branches, relieved to now see Reala, but dismayed to see him missing his hostage. Had he dumped Puc off somewhere as he flew in order to manuver freely? Eva sighed and sat down on her branch, letting her head come down onto the trunk of the tree as she thought to herself.
It was obviously a waste to travel out here...oh, if only that nobody hadn't brought them along! Puc wouldn't be in stranger's hands...and Eva would still have that hug..
Lifting her head back up, Eva prepared herself to leave once again into the maze..unknown to her the way through it.

As Vaye parted her distance from Reala, the grip from his shackles of branches loosened, making it easy to break out. There was too much time lost, NiGHTS must have already heard throughout nightopia from nightmarens telling secrets that Reala is now a target for disobedience, it was embarrassing.......why did he conitnue to focus on.....NiGHTS.....?
In his mist of thoughts, SPiTE had caught up, with a grin on his face, the trees would be the only witnesses.

Eva didn't care if she had only brought them to the Dream Gate to retrieve Reala, she was going to leave him to do what he wants. And besides...what's his name has already been dishonest on many things tonight, what proof does she have of Master needing the General captured?
Answer: none.
Getting back up, Eva decided it would be best to leave here without being detected. Whatever the case may be...who is she to stop his plans..

"please.....wake up..." Vaye called out to Puc as darted back to the dream gate clearing, the water from the fountain might wake him from his struggle. She only hoped, that the treacherous forest would stall them enough time, before a chase begins again.
"How interesting to see you imprisoned Reala." SPiTE told him giggling, he would enjoy this interrogation, "So tell me, why disobey Wizeman? You have no where left to run, and you're trapped, so you might as well answer the question."
Reala smirked, "I'm not that easy to break SPiTE, remember that." Reala then spun out of his shackles and dashed towards SPiTE, who had barely enough time to defend himself.

Goodness...perhaps it really is possible for someone without a brain to be assigned to missions. Covering herself behind a tree, Eva found it hard not to laugh at SPiTE getting attacked, but doing so would only reveal her position...and that's something Eva would rather not have happen.
There was no reason for Eva to be here, she knew she had to go find Puc...but with him seperated from everyone here....he could be anywhere. Eva sighed. Just as that old bird said, Eva guessed she would just have to trust Puc to find his own way back to the gate. She had no doubt that he could handle things by himself...she just couldn't stand not knowing how things were..

SPiTE used what little time he had to cross his arms as a shield ad Reala tackled him at full force, sending him off his feet and crashing into the closest tree. Reala, having battled SPiTE countless times, wanted nothing more, then to end this rivalry, as he jolted towards SPiTE, he stood to his feet again, blocking another close combat assault, this time, holding his ground.
Vaye's eyes shined as opening a light was seen just ahead, she must have made it back to the fountain, she traveled on with hope in her heart.

Even if Eva enjoyed the sight of justice being so rightfully served, she had other places to be. Eva looked up past the branches overhead and studied the thick blanket of leaves above, ignoring her wants to watch SPiTE be knocked down a knotch. Begining her escape by drifting carefully back up through the tangled mess of a forest, Eva sneaked through the tree tops and flew into open air. Having the sweet feeling of wind gently blowing in her face calmed Eva down a great deal, being back where it made her happy, but looking back out across the endless river of leaves and wood below her...Eva couldn't help but sigh again. Hearing muffled noises of the fight below made her tense as she scanned around for a way to the gate, but Eva ignored her feelings as she has always done, making her remember how things were before Puc placed himself into her life...and how things now compared to things back then..
Floating in solitude, Eva held her arms close, having a thought come across her mind that she had never even thought possible. ..Is she.....changing?

Reala and SPiTE exchanged hit after hit in their enclosed environment, Neither would give up knowing what would be lost, for both of them, dignity.
To Vaye's surprise, she arrived carrying Puc to a shoreline, leading into a musky blue sea. She set Puc down, perhaps the sea water would be just as effective for waking him up. She cautiously approached the end of the shore, cupped her hands to get the water, and slowly walked back.
The fight continued, until both were able to make a hit on each other, they both fell, heavy painting, there was no clear winner.

"...He isn't here.." Eva whispered to herself, looking around the Dream Gate with sad eyes, not seeing so much as a soul anywhere. So now it's just her..the whistling wind..and the crystaline water in the fountain...joy. With a grumble Eva sat herself down on a fountain statue, drapeing herself over the side of it like clothing out to dry. It felt strangely familiar to her being like this...depressed...lying on this statue...but Eva knew she hadn't done this before, so why care about doing it at all?
Eva tapped her boot on the statue and stared at the swirling sky high above, the cruel reality of it all finally sinking in..Eva is out of places to go to. Only knowing the locations of where she has been sent in the past has finally gotten her in the end, how utterly histerical. The spot that this fountain is at is basically one of the only things around here that Eva can find on her own, everything else here is a mystery to her...
What an embarassment...she could almost slap herself! How is she supposed to find someone if she's the one who gets lost?!

Puc had a vision, of his past, a nightmaren known by many....and feared by most, his power spread like wildfire, making mismatch relations to give be the chance to love....and hate.
Puc's eyes opened, it startle him to think about, and before he knew, cold water was poured over his face, he rolled on the ground surprised by this to dry his face, he opened his eyes again to see that nightmaren again, the one in the city from before. "Any reason you brought me here?" Puc asked, remembering Reala taking hostage before waking up again, maybe she rescued him.
All Vaye replied with was laughter, Puc may have dried his face, but it was now covered like a mask by dirt.
Puc was confused, so Vaye clarified, "I had to get you away from that nightmaren..." She said purely, blushing, she was happy to be with Puc....once again.
Meanwhile, someone made their appearance at the Dream Gate, Wizeman's newest creation, the girl once Lei-Lei, stepped through the gate, even with no expression, it was easy to tell with no physical damage, her mission was a success.

Although she'd prefer not being around anyone else at the moment, Eva smiled faintly, sensing the presence of a human at the gate. This feeling of a visitor nearby was diffrent then the others though. It's not as distinct on being human so much as Nightmaren, but just flat out lack of certainty isn't enough to halt Eva's curiousity. Eva sat up perfectly straight and eyed the girl down the pathway from the corner of her eye. Well, this little oddball is quite the intresting one..

Puc stood up, "Thanks for helping me, but I have to get back to Eva..." Puc knew she worried, he felt as their distance became wide, a loss of feelings and happiness went through him, he had to see her again, she had to be safe. Puc looked around where he was, a coastline to a musky sea, and off in the distance, rustic gate, just across a narrow ledge to the peak it rests on, Eva was there, he had to move, till his arm was grabbed by Vaye, who looked into his eyes, "Please don't leave me...." she replied.

Lei-Lei walked towards Eva, after having succeed her mission in a unique way for a nightmaren, rather then causing the fears in sleep, make people their own fears, for now they are still humans, but the world would soon become a striking image of Wizeman's dream, humans under domestication.
"It's not safe to keep your mind open Eva." She advised Eva in a dull tone, "or someone might get hurt." She then walked towards the woods, sense the pulse of other nightmarens, both unconscious, both must be taken back.

Eva wasn't sure what to make of this sudden advise...but, don't keep an open mind? What could this stranger mean by that...don't keep and open mind...why in the world would they even care? Sure, Eva has been doing a few things lately that are a little odd for her behavior...but it's not like it's causing any harm to anyone. As long as what she feels for Puc stays strictly between the two of them, what harm is there in them sharing lov-....that feeling? Eva wasn't even sure of who this person could be...but it worried her that this girl knew what she did.
...Don't keep an open mind...is it possible for someone to get hurt by doing new things..?

"Sorry, there's someone else I need to see." Puc told Vaye as try to walk again, back to the fountain where Eva waits, but Vaye wouldn't give up still holding onto Vaye's arm, she was persistent.
"I don't want to be alone." Vaye whined, wrapping her around Puc, he quickly broke loose, Puc would not let anyone else but Eva hold him like that, there could be no replacement.
"Leave me alone!" Puc yelled at Vaye as he walked carefully on the edge, Vaye bowed her head again, hoping for the woods to listen to her calls, and capture Puc.

Eva wanted to just let what that girl said to her leave her thoughts and let her be in peace again...but she just couldn't..it stuck in her mind. No...Eva hasn't changed one bit. Not one bit. She's been the same Eva as she always has been, the only exception being someone in her life that catches her eye.
No one can get hurt by something so wonderful...this obviously just something planned out to get under her skin.

Puc walked gradually across the thin strip of land the that separate him from getting to the Dream Gate, he had to be careful, one wrong step or movement, and he would plunge into the unknown murky water. All he had to do was stay calm, patient and focus.
Whap! A branch pushed him off the side of the edge, in response Puc quickly grabbed the branch and pulled himself back to the edge, soon after, more branches lunged out like spear heads, trying to knock him down or knock him out, he continued to move, little by little, he couldn't be stopped.

Eva lied back down across the cold green statue, staring back up into the swirling sky above. All she wanted now was to reunite with Puc...have him tell her all she's worying about is nothing at all...maybe have another hug...and then even a ki-..
Eva heard a distant sound of wood cracking in the distance, making her stop her lonely mopeing and look around. Puc? Could it be Puc? The noises were so faint, but there were so many of them...it could be him! That Owl said she just had to have faith, right? Well...why not give the crummy option a chance, she decided, as she kept herself positive, and listened to the noises comming to her, each faintly clearer then the last.

"Targets located." Lei-Lei announced in dull voice, staring at the still breathing nightmaren who didn't bare to move their tired bodies and only rest. Lei-Lei opened a portal below Reala and SPiTE, both would return to nightmare, both will be prison-ed, by Wiseman law, both by disobeying orders.
Puc continued onward, soon increasing his speed to avoid the lunging branches of the angered woods. He wouldn't give in, he couldn't, it wasn't his own strength that kept him going, but his spirit to never give up, never surrender, he would not give up on Eva, and with that thought in mind, let out a yell before making a final jump to the other side, the yell left the branches stunned, as well as Vaye, who couldn't believe.....that her search continues...

Eva heard a yell....a yell that had defientately sounded like Puc's voice....it worried her. Has Puc been injured? Attacked? WORSE??
"Puc!?" Eva called out to the trees, frantically looking in any direction, hoping to spot his sweet face unharmed and smiling. "Puc?! Is that you out there?!" Eva hoped off the statue in a hearbeat, trying her best to keep faith that Puc will soon be back to her, since the crummy tactic...actually appears to be working.

"Eva....." Puc panted as his heart went a different pace seeing Eva again, excitement, joy, he had never felt this feeling before, after being away from Eva for so long. "Eva!!" Puc called out as he ran to her, he would finally be with her again, to hold hand and hand, his reward from being away from, the feeling of true love once again.

Eva's heart halted hearing her name called out, was it finally...? She turned quickly to face this voice's owner, and seeing that sweet face she has so longed to spy again running towards her, her heart quickly sprung back into life. "Puc!"' Eva called out with blissfull relief, holding her arms out, already anticipating to feel his touch again. Thank goodness Puc is alright...Eva wouldn't be able to live with herself if he wasn't.

Puc kept a constant speed as he ran blissfully towards Eva, his heart beating in harmony to breath, at least, they were together again. He held Eva close to him, raising his leg up as he did, as a sign of joyfulness, "I'm glad you were safe Eva.....I didn't mean to be gone for so long...."
Lei-Lei watched as the two disobedient nightmarens phased back to nightmare for punishment, while she remained behind, walking back the way she came, she was curious to see if Eva followed her advise, if not, Wizeman's plan would continue to progress.

"Oh Puc, it's alright.." Eva sighed out relieved, pausing to give a kiss to Puc's cheek. "All I care about is that you're safe again.....but you aren't harmed at all, are you? Do you feel pain anywhere? Are you injured? Did something happen to you out there??" Eva couldn't help but ask Puc question after question, so much was on her mind. Even though she really enjoyed being next to Puc like this, Eva felt guilty for not acting sooner and preventing the whole incident from happening. If anything did happen to Puc...it's only because of her..
