Midsummer NiGHTopia [open, and still accepting characters, humans now avalible]

Chive poked his head through the door fully and looked around, feeling very shameful, having watched somthing not ment for him to see. He only had heard Eva's voice and assumed that she was now refreshed and able to answer his questions...he didn't mean to spy on anyone. But somthing confused Chive about what he saw, making him blink a few times. He had never seen Eva do such a thing with her arm with anyone else...so why would she cling to her servant in such a way, then? Why would she participate in such an odd way of walking to her door? Chive thought only couples did such strange clinging actions, but Eva and Puc were mere partners at most.
How odd. How very, very odd.
He must ask about this later.

SPiTE appeared at the Dream Gate, quiet and peaceful. "Now where would Reala be?" SPiTE asked himself as he looked around, soon remember after a full search of the place, which door NiGHTS traveled through, and set off on his mission, his powers ready, his own intentions, just as planned.

"Come on Reala!" NiGHTS told him, trying to cheer Reala up, "You don't always have to be so grumpy, by the way. why are you always angry?"
"You....Reala" quickly responded, standing up quickly, he wanted to just bolt out of there, till NiGHTS grabbed his arm, trying to struggle free, NiGHTS' attitude was no serious, "Please don't run away on your own. I don't mean to set this up. But look around you." Even though Reala didn't want to hear what NiGHTS said, he looked around the top of the peak, a defensive array of Awakers, waited patiently for a target to chase. Reala growled, still being weak, to many of those ghost like creatures would attach to him and make him fall like before........it occurred to Reala....why he fell before...it was a set up....a clever set up....

With a fustrated sigh, Eva threw the covers off herself and sat up. She couldn't sleep....figures as much. Whenever she closes her eyes...all she sees are the repeating memories of the incident in Wizeman's lair.
"True fear?" Eva asked herself, staring at the ceiling. "True fear? ...A kiss is true fear?" Eva rubbed her head and grummbled. "...I wasn't affraid of him.." Eva whispered defensivly, though she wouldn't fool anyone with that statement. Grabbing her coat, Eva left her room, sitting down on the furntiure in the main entrance area and rubbing her eyes. "I'll never get rest at this rate..." she whined to herself, fed up with being sleep-deprived. "..I guess I have to ask Master about it all.." Eva moaned, leaning her head on her palm. "..It's futile ignoring what I know."

All Puc had to do now was sleep, and wake up to the next day, yet another day to be a servant, but it would still be another day being with Eva. He could not give up on her....not yet.... Puc opened his eyes, hearing Eva's voice only a little, he could tell she still worried, but not for Reala. he exited his room, half tired, entering the front room , and giving Eva a hug, wrapping his arms around her, and whispering "something wrong Eva?"

Eva's face quickly reddened suddenly being hugged, with the caring whisper following along with it. "P-P-P-Puc-!" Eva stuttered quickly, unsure by his hug, but trying to play her startled cry off as if it never happened. "I-I was just thinking about a small matter I have to concider acting on, that's all." Eva tried to keep the details to a minimum, but doing so just made her feel even worse about what she knew. "Did I wake you, Puc?" Eva asked, calming down. "You sound as tired as I am."

Puc never meant to startle Eva, but seeing her acting fearful only made him giggle, she was such a strong spirit and yet an unexpected hug easily broke her down. He would have to remember that...."I am tired....but I don't want you to stay up all night..." He said, half concerned, "If you're having a hard time sleep alone, would you you like to come rest in my room?" Puc felt his heart pulse, having Eva close yet again, was almost too good to be true...

Eva looked at her lap and played with her fingers, finding them to be quite intresting lately, strangely enough. To be offered somthing like that...what was she supposed to say? "How v-very generous of you, Puc..." Eva said with a quirky smile, still stunned out of her mind. It was very generous indeed, for Puc to offer to help her to be at ease with his company once more...but...should she accept somthing like this?? "I...suppose I will.." Eva said with a silent gulp, wanting to just stop talking now."..But only if you don't mind at all..."
What harm is there in this? Answer: None, right? And anyways, it's only a one-time deal. That's all it is, charity from Puc, her dependable ally. That's all it is.

Puc knew that question went through her like an air, feeling her tense up as he held her, letting go to give her time to breath. It would only be for one night, giving him enough time to make her reconsider having it happen only once. Grabbing hold of her hand he lead her down the hallway to his room, every step matching pulse, unsure, and unprepared.

Eva took a calming breath and moved with Puc with a straight face. "This is nothing major.." she convinced herself, placing her free hand in her pocket. "Puc is perfectly calm about this. He sees it as no big deal, so why am I getting so worked up? This is just an act of kindness." Eva calmed herself down a great deal with false words and enhanced lies, but thinking it about it truely, sharing a bed with Puc for a night will be fine...as long as her siblings don't find out..

"I should have known you planned this NiGHTS," Reala mumbled, to think NiGHTS was just a rebel running away, had a troop of awakers ready on the attack.
"Reala....I didn't bring them here." NiGHTS replied, a bit worried, "They followed you here Reala, they attached to you back in the city and made their way here."
Neither of them knew the origin of the awakers, a ghost not nightmaren nor nightopian, yet clings to the bodies of visitors till they are out of stamina, and out of time, waking up the visitors with no memory of nightmare itself. Truly vial creatures.

SPiTE made his way through the door way, into a land of water, happiness, and beauty. It sickened him, but all he had to do was get Reala and get out of there. Sneaking through, he had to first figure out where they were hiding him, it seems the most obvious would be underwater, but in plain sight, it just couldn't be there.

Puc led her to his room closing the door behind them in the blank white room, with the bed being the item to stand out of of the mono color. He took her towards the bed, his pulse racing faster, all he had to do now, was survive the rest of the night, and his heart would never lose that beat. He laid down on the bed, waiting for Eva to join him...face to face...blushing at the many thoughts coming to mind, Eva was the one....

Eva made her way to the other side of Puc's bed and began to unbutton her coat, since it's a rare day that Eva would take the risk of letting the precious thing get wrinkled. Methodically, Eva's arms slipped out her sleeves, and the coat slipped quickly to the floor, leaving Eva to sit on the bed and fold it, before lying back next to Puc, turning her head to the side to him as she lie on her back. "I'm not making things awkward for you, am I?" she asked quietly, seeing him red in the face for some odd reason. She didn't want to make Puc lose rest just because she can't sleep herself..

Puc's eyes widen, to see Eva remove her coat, it made him blush bright red and keep a blank face. Perhaps she just didn't want to be too warm in bed......perhaps she just sleeps likes this in general.....thought about she's doing this for you? Puc came back to his sense answering her question. "No, of course not! It's just....this is the first time I've seen you look more gentle, and cute..." he rolled around till he was right next to her, giggling. He was at his happiest.

Eva looked at Puc with a small smirk. He seems quite the giddy one now...perhaps the lack of sleep has finally gotten to his head.....explains the odd choice of words.
"Gentle and cute?" Eva repeated, looking at Puc, who was strangely close to her side now. "...I do believe you are the first person to ever associate me with such words, Puc." Eva thought on it for a moment. How was she cute? Is there somthing Puc finds amusing about her? And appearing gentle..how does that come in? Does she look like a teddy bear without her coat on? "Is being "gentle" and "cute" a good thing?" Eva asked with a giggle...wanting to know whether to fear or admire the statement.

"I'm not surprised..." Puc replied, his eyes staying half open. he moved his hands close to Eva's hands, only feeling with his finger tips. "Many would see you as being someone of high power, a loyal worker.....I'm so lucky to be able to see you as you truly are, gentle and cute...." Puc closed his eyes, he couldn't stay awake much longer, "A good thing? To me....I love you....no matter what..."

Reala knew there was no way of escape, with the awakers waiting for Reala's next move, leaving the peak at all would result in a short ended chase. Not only that, Reala had only heard rumors of the fear the awakers bring, and did not want to experience that. "We both know I don't want to stay here...." Reala began to speak to NiGHTS who paid attention closely. "What say we make......a deal....?"
"A deal?" NiGHTS asked, "Like a peace treaty? a truce? a surrender Reala?"
Reala never liked the word surrender, the sound of it made him chill, "A truce, you help me escape back to nightmare, and I promise not to bring too much harm to you."
"hmmm...." NiGHTS thought about that, but had a different plan, "I have a different idea for my part of the bargain, how about you meet me at the Dream Gate tomorrow, and join me on an adventure."
Reala was peeved, what kind of counter offer was that, drop whatever plans for NiGHTS, that was madness. However, he knew NiGHTS was determined not to go with the first offer, and he had to escape back to Nightmare, already expecting a punishment for his tardiness.

Eva looked at Puc as he barely hung to conciousness, staring at his face, and then to the fingers slightly drooping away from hers. Had..had she heard that correctly? Is Puc just being giddy again? "Puc-?" Eva whispered, but stopped, suddenly recalling his haunting message from before, for what seemed like the hundredth time.
"I was your love.."
Eva continued to look at Puc, noticing for the first time how bright his cheeks seemed...and how pleasently warm his hand felt. "Love..huh?" she whispered to herself, letting her gaze drift back to his peaceful face, hesitaiting for only a moment, before moving close, and kissing his forehead. "...goodnight, Puc."

"Good night.....Eva....." Puc had fallen asleep but had enough strength to say those last words before becoming completely sound in mind. In his mind, he reflected back on what he had learned from Owl, that he made someone use his love power on himself, but now....Puc was sure this was the rue feeling, not an artificial curse, and with this true love, it would keep him together with Eva, enough time to protect her from Wizeman's schemes

"Fine then.....I accept..." Reala replied, feeling like he had been defeated in yet another battle with NiGHTS, disgraceful.
"Great! Let's go!" NiGHTS said joyfully, grabbing Reala's hand as they both flew into the blue sky, the awakers soon following after. With their speed combined they were able to dash quick and valiantly through the world of water. Reala felt unsure about his feelings, but he enjoyed this flight, the rush of speed, the fast movement, being next to.....NO! He couldn't like being around NiGHTS, he hated more worse then this silly purple jester. Just how the awkers were on their trail, so was SPiTE, determined to hit two birds with one stone.

Eva watched Puc sleep for a little while, the only reminder to Eva of her own need for rest being a yawn that interupted her study. Oh, that's right. The only reason she was in here was to sleep....perhaps it would be best to start now. She turned onto her side and shut her eyes, curling up a bit as she let out a sigh. "I'm going to find out what happened to us, Puc." Eva thought, drifting off more and more by the second. "I don't care if I begged to forget...I want to remember you..."

they were almost there, Reala and NiGHTS darted towards the door, and escape back to the Dream Gate, the number of awakers slowly became less, SPiTE spent his flight knocking down each one by hand, determined to get both Reala and NiGHTS as hostages, proving once and for all that he was the greatest Nightmaren that Wizeman has created. Steadying his shot, he fired at the two, but with Reala's quick thinking, held onto NiGHTS close and dash them through the doorway, SPiTE soon followed after.

"I should have known Reala, to be caught by a rouge maren is worth losing a rank, don't you think so." SPiTE teased Reala.
"You tell him none of this, or I'll end you here!" Reala responded, his voice coming back to his regular tone.
"Doesn't matter, I plan to tell him I've destroyed the both of you, getting rid of the free spirit and the corrupted member would make Nightmare balanced once more.
Reala growled, but taking a quick glance, NiGHTS had placed the rocket persona on once again, blasting toward Reala, he quickly jumped on and flew back to Nightmare. SPiTE flew back as well, race to decide who gets to nightmare first was in progress.

[the next day]

Puc awoke, sitting up and stretching, unsure what had happened last night, he turned to see Eva, sleeping next to him and his eyes widen once again, "Oh right, she stayed here..." It made his heart pulse to see her sleeping, so innocent....yet disturbing her would be a fatal choice...

"Eva..!" Exo called, knocking on her door with a steady beat, "Eva...Chive has questions! Stop avoiding him now and answer!" Chive blushed a little a slunk to the floor. Oh, he was being a pian! He was going to trouble somone without proper reason! Oh, he felt so wrong! Exo gave up his attempt at knocking and let himself in, surprised to only see an empy bed...which had been used before..
"PIGLET!" Exo called, turning to Puc's door. "Where is your stooge of a Master at??"

Puc almost screamed, Exo was looking for Eva, this was bad. Though Puc didn't mind having Eva spend the night, having her siblings find out about this arrangement, thinking they are both servant of Wizeman just like Eva, would have to keep this a secret from them, but how??? Puc thought of an idea, Chive said Puc could adjust the room to any way he liked it. He dimmed lights, only responding to Exo with, "She must have gone out without tell us."

"Figures.." Exo replied with a huff, looking away from Puc's door. If her servant didn't even know where she went, Eva must have dissapeared again. ...but so help him..if she goes missing for days on end AGAIN...
"Exo.." Chive started meekly, looking at his schemeing sibling. "She must be following Master's orders right now...that is a sufficent excuse to wait further. Do not be mad, please." Exo crossed him arms and sighed, gliding past his sibling and back to his room, leaving Chive with, a sympathetic glare, before closing his door. Chive got to his feet and scratched his cheek with a finger. He supposed he'd ask her whenever she got back...again...

Puc sighed, as he landed on his knees, the lighting returned to the room leaving it mono white. It surprised him that Eva still laid resting, but then again, her ability to drain all those visitors of ideya must have tired her out more then expected. However, even if she woke up, was she to escape from Puc's room without being caught by he siblings. He had no other choice, as he shrugged her shoulder, "Time to get up master."

Eva quickly began to wake up, moaning quietly before opening her eyes. "Who needs me to do somthing...?" she asked in a mumble, turning sleepily to face Puc. He looked off...like he had just gone through some shocking experience...had somthing happened? "...Did I miss somthing?"

"Exo was looking for you, Chive wanted to speak to you, but.....because I didn't want them to find you in my room, I told them you were off on another mission. Please forgive me Master, but it was for your own safety." Puc said acting like a servant again, enjoying to be under Eva's control, but still having the chance to get his way.

Eva sat up and rubbed Puc's shoulder. "You don't have to apologize, Puc. You haven't done anything wrong...I'm grateful for you protecting me." Eva looked at the door and sighed. "But if I'm supossedly out on a mission right now, I guess I'll have to dissapear for a few hours...which reminds me of somthing I've been concidering for a little while.." Eva sat up straighter and took of her persona, pulling out a handkercheif from her lack-of wrist and polishing it. "If I am to be gone for a few hours with nothing to do...would you perhaps...like to..oh what is it called again.." Eva rubbed her head, but finding her answer, she looked at Puc with a smile, "Would you like to go out with me?"
