Midsummer NiGHTopia [open, and still accepting characters, humans now avalible]

Exo felt the urge to gag again hearing the innocent little giggles Puc is making, but he took a large breath and held it, continuing to study the piglet, even with the unbearable aura laying heavy in the room. Well, well, well,...whatever the piglet's thinking about has certainly made him quite the giddy one...but, what WAS there for him to be so happy about? Exo restrained himself from hopping down there and taking the information he wanted, but that could wait. Perhaps when Eva isn't around to come to the little Piglet's aid, Exo can begin to solve this riddle, but until then he would have to play the waiting game, as he sneaked back out the crack in the door, and back to his quarters with a swift swoop.

Reala created an aura around the amusement park, people soon would begin to see their fears and worst nightmares, causing screams to echo into the city. It made him laugh, this was his fun, and it would soon get better, when NiGHTS comes paralooping to the rescue, soon to be caught in combat with Reala again, and this time, with no escape.

Puc sat up, was it wrong for him to think like this, so many predictable outcomes for the future, but yet.....all of them were happy. What if something went wrong? It made Puc worry and think even more, making him yell from the pressure in his mind. He had to calm down. Just then, a knock was heard at the doorway.

"Oh..what now?" Exo grumbled, poking his head out from his door and staring at the main entrance. "Whoever is out there, come in yourself! I won't come open the door for you tonight!" Exo called out, slightly irritated. It seems they had a visitor...how joyus. Well, if this person came to get the piglet and his weird aura out of his chamber...Exo would accept a stranger during their resting time. But he did wonder...why would they have a visitor? And who in the world could it be?

SPiTE grinned as he entered the room, bowing at the door, showing he was not a threat. "Hello, I'm here with a message for Eva and her servant from Master Wizeman, it is urgent they listen to this as soon as possible, but then again I don't know why he wants me to come find these two when I can easily do this. Ah well!" SPiTE placed a small purple sphere on the table in the center of the room. "good bye!" SPiTE then disappeared, he hated traveling all this way and giving them the chance just to say no. He'd rather have them kept away, SPiTE believed he was the only nightmaren Wizeman needs.

Exo sighed and went over to Puc's door, opening it and poking his head inside. "Piglet, go wake up your Master. Master Wizeman is in need of service, and has requested you two to a mission. Do not delay." Exo relayed, leaving the door ajar for Puc as he made his way back to his resting area once again, praying not to be disturbed anymore, less he might start becoming..."unpleasent".

Puc stood up, still undecided on what to do, going on a mission would give him the chance to stay close to Eva, but he didn't want to distract her concentration. He would just have to be on his best behavior for the time being, as he walk to Eva's room, knocking on the door. "Master Eva, Wizeman requires our assistance at this time, please hurry."

Hearing Puc's message Eva began to get herself up, but she wondered what the fuss was all about. She exited her room quickly, already wearing her boots and carrying her coat in her hand, and spying the sphere on the table, Eva threw her coat over herself and sat down next to it. "I wonder what his desires are..?" she mummbled to herself, still half asleep. Looking at Puc, and then back at the sphere, Eva couldn't help but wonder..what would it be like on an assinment with him..?

Puc looked at Eva, she didn't seem like she was prepared for a mission at this moment, not yet at full strength either, Puc would do all the work he can to make this mission go faster. The sphere then opened, an eye stared at the both of them from the table. Jumping up in the air, a hand shape soon appeared around the eyes, resembling a smaller model of Wizeman's hand, it began to speak in his voice "Eva, Reala is currently causing fear to run through a crowd of humans, many of which, will soon arrive as visitors. I recommend you prevent off as many of these visitors as you can before they reach their dreams. While doing so, get as much ideya as you can. it is essential. Do not fail..." The eye then closed again falling to the ground and rolling a few inches before stopping in place. "Preventing visitors?" Puc asked, "Are we barricading the Dream Gate then?"

"That seems to be the plan." Eva replied perkily, standing up and buttoning her coat. "If we start with closing the gate and securing it from the fountain side, that should buy us enought time to go Ideya hunting." Eva said sleepily with a giggle. She flew up and did a backflip, making a paraloop to the Dream Gate's fountain, and landing by Puc's side, she started to speak yet again. "If we work quickly, we should be able to keep up with General Reala and his progress." Offering her hand to Puc, Eva yawned again and gave him a little grin. "...Ready?"

Puc was amazed by Eva's skills, it made him blush to hear she already had a plan to deal with the situation. Yet another reason Puc had feelings for her, he planned for her sake, not to force his emotions over his attitude as a servant. "I'm ready master." Puc said with a smile as they made their way to the Dream Gate.

As the portal closed after them, Eva looked towards the gate....an eyesore as always..
"Puc," she started, preparing to give her first official order, "head to the right side of the gate and start pulling that half closed, if you will. I'll take the left and meet you in the center." If they sealed the gate off first, the humans wouldn't have anywhere left to head to..and therefore...they would be nothing more, than mere sitting ducks.

Puc looked around the Dream Gate, the trees, fountain, and many doorways were all too familiar. It came back to him, he came here before to prank visitors, to make them be attracted to another without any control....wait....it was coming back to him! Back then....he could fly, he could control others with that exact spell....but yet....what happened.

He heard Eva's voice, and Puc had to stay focused, replying with "Yes master" before running towards the gate. He struggled trying to make it move at all, its been open for so long it must have rusted to stay still. He continued at full strength but soon fell to his knees, he wasn't strong enough.

Eva pushed all her weight onto the part of the gate, but it just wasn't budging! "Shoot.." she breathed, backing off the gate, "..I didn't plan on this..." Eva looked towards Puc, feeling a little sad to see him looking so down...but seeing him gave her another idea. "Do not feel discouraged, Puc" Eva said enthusasticaly, moving to his side of the gate and grabbing one of the bars. "Seperate we may not be strong enough, but together, I'm positive we can overcome this setback." She smiled at him and gripped her bar tightly, "Give it another shot with me?" she half asked, half ordered, wanting to hurry before any visitors arrive...but also wanting Puc to cheer up a bit.

Puc nodded in agreement as he began to push the gate along side Eva. Slowly, it began to move and with enough force together, it easily swung to meet the archway. "It worked!" He assured Eva, smiling at her. But suddenly a figure appeared from the trees, it was an owl, with ruffled feathers, and dressed like a scholar it flew towards Eva and Puc, "May I ask why you two are closing the dream gate?" Looking at their appearances, they must have been sent by Wizeman.

"Oh, not the old bird!" Eva thought grumpily, switching in a flash to a light smile and pleasent tone. "Why Mr. Owl, my partner and I are only closing the gate for the Dream Gate's protection." Eva lied, bowing with a curtsy. If only this old bird hadn't popped up, she and Puc would have had the area secured by now! But, changes will have to be made. Eva's plans rarely go off without a hitch, anyway.

"The dream gate has never moved in years!! Even with your manners, I can only guess you were given orders to do so?" Owl could tell she was lying, and even though he had no way or no reason to fight back, best he can do is scold her till NiGHTS returns to the gate. "Though I'm not against your loyalty, it is wrong to close of the gate from visitors who want to express their dreams and wishes to their hearts content, sometimes I wonder why Wizeman's loyal minions have to cruel to others which reminds me of a story..." Owl continued to talk to Eva, while Puc watched, annoyed how this bird was talking towards master Eva.

"Looks like you were having fun?" NiGHTS called out to Reala, appear behind him after flying close to the channel "You're so easy to read Reala." NiGHTS said teasing him. "Watch your mouth!" Reala responded with a growl "Last time I let you off with mercy, but this time, I'm ready to get rid of you, the last rebel that stands in the way of Wizeman's new empire."
"Then let us duel, see if you deserve to say those words." NiGHTS said, flying in an arc past Reala, speeding a course to make Reala play in a little cat and mouse chase. Reala didn't hesitant to chase NiGHTS, he planned to end this rivalry, to get rid of last trouble before nightmare's expansion.

Eva's light smile dropped into a grimmace instantly. This old bird! He's talking her non-present ears off! What a nuisance!! "E-...excuse-...EXCUSE M-.." Eva tried, trying to get Owl to hush, but failing miserably. She should have known, once that bird gets started in a lecture..there's no stopping him. She stared at Owl, and hatching an idea, Eva set it to use immediately. "...little pest.." She mumbled, enclosing a circular barrior around Owl, drowning him out slightly, but not enough to spare her any more scolding.

"What is the meaning of this?!?! How dare you trap me!! Wizeman should have taught you manners if you are going to be so rude, which reminds me of a story...." Owl continued to talk, even if imprisoned, he had to stall. "Master Eva..." Puc interrupt, "we need to finish our mission." He got back to the left gate, pushing with all of his force, he awaited Eva's strength to get the job done.

Eva began to turn and head for the gate to assist Puc, but she still couldn't help but remain stunned by Owl's methods of teaching. ...what an annoying bird...having the nerve to tell her what little manners she posses...little pest.
She grabbed a bar and pushed against the metal gate along with Puc, slowly hearing the rust crackle and chip as it began to move forward. She had never seen the gate closed before...she wondered what it would look like, all visitors still left in the dark....not as alone as they think.

NiGHTS flew through the the city, taking short turns, paraloops and flying upside buildings, making it difficult for Reala to keep up such a strategy. It did fool him, as Reala got caught many times, even with his new powers, NiGHTS was still skilled in flight and speed.

Meanwhile, The Dream Gate was brought to a close, the whisper of the wind was silenced, and all they heard now was the gathering of people standing at the gate, children unsure where they are or how they got their they stared at the creatures behind the gate, worried and afraid. "Master Eva..." Puc began walking towards Owl, "If you don't mind, I need to interrogate the owl. To get information that would be helpful to Wizeman, after all, the bird loves to talk....If I may master?" Puc knew Owl would have to know so much about nightmare if he is the greeter of the Dream Gate, perhaps he would know more about Puc's past.

Eva gave Puc a sly smile and relased Owl to his arms, impressed Puc would think of somthing strategic like that. The man did like to learn things from what Eva has assumed, so why not let him has his full with the Owl? It's not like she'd miss that bird's company anyhow...not when she has all these visitors to play with. With a giggle, Eva flew up and over the gate, landing gracefully on the other side and studying the humans. "Good evening Visitors hailing from the Waking World." Eva announced formally with a bow, as she pulled a small ball from her pocket. "My name is Eva, and I will be your Nightmaren this evening..."

Puc took Owl deeper in to the wood area away from the gate, he struggled to keep Owl in his arms as he flapped his arms and complained, "I say, let me go if you will! I will not stand for such actions!" Puc then let him go and starred at him with a straight face, "Go ahead and run if you must, but I have questions for you Owl, after all you are the only one besides Wizeman who knows all there is to know about our world." Puc had met Owl before on his travels as Wizeman's servants, causing much terror to visitors and those who got in his way, it palyed back through his mind.
"Yes, I do know much knowledge, but I do not share it to nightmarens!" Owl said, as he flew to a high branch on a nearby tree, watching what the other nightmaren had planned.
"Please Owl...." Puc got down on his knees, showing he was no threat, "I need to know about my past.....please...."

Eva stood up straight, a smile sewn onto her face as she analized the humans before her, loving the distinct hint of fear and uncertainty lingering in the air. Holding the ball from her pocket in one hand, Eva reached in her pocket again, fishing out two more, keeping her hawk eyes steady on the visitors before her. Suddenly, she tossed a ball up, and then another one, and in no time at all, Eva was steadily juggling all three balls in a small loop, a devious smirk taking root across her snow-white face. "Oh, young ones..." Eva sighed, tossing the balls up higher and higher as she juggled, "...have you ever felt fear?" She continued to juggle, her act nearing a close. "Oh, fear, fear, fear...it is such an unbearable thing, isn't it, children? If only you didn't have any feelings...then you wouldn't know such terrible sensations. I myself know fear very well..." Eva said quietly, the balls stopping and freezing in mid air, "...since I make it." The ball at the top suddenly grew in size, forming an Ideya cage, as the other two shot to the sides quickly. "Sweet, young, inncoent, children." Eva cooed, as another ball grew in size, trapping the visitors in a dome. "What would I ever do without your company.." Eva whispered with a cruel grin, the final ball shooting back to her hand.
Time to complete part two of the assignment.

"Enough of this Chase NiGHTS!!!!" Reala yelled out, "Just fight me face to face!!!!" Reala teleported to NiGHTS' current location, getting a head advantage in their chase, but NiGHTS still flew with grace, making it impossible for Reala to catch up. "NiGHTS!!!!!" Reala moved at full force, about to reach NiGHTS, and then, a building was in his way, NiGHTS traveled upward, but it was too late, all Reala could do was fly downward to avoid the building, but was plummeting too fast, his eyes shuttered, the mistake was made,
"I've failed you.....Master Wizeman!!!" Reala shouted, before his vision, grew dark.

"If knowledge you seek for yourself, then I would be more then happy, to share with you what I know." Owl responded, still sitting from the tree for safety. "Thank you Owl" Puc responded with a smile, proceeding with his question, "My name is Puc, for some reason I have been blocked from knowing part of my memory, I know only a little of my past and of the present since I had last awoken, would you perhaps know anything else. Owl flew down momentarily to view Puc up close, remembering who he is and all he knew about him,
"Ah yes, Puc..." Owl flew back to the branch, "You were one of Wizeman's most unique creations, a nightmaren that could make others fall in love against their will, a strange ability indeed." Puc now understood, that strange ability he remembered, to fall in love...."Anything else you know Owl?"
"Well from what I know you have also been exiled by Wizeman himself." Owl told Puc, he was shocked, exiled? That couldn't be right. His time of exiled....was removed form his memory? Just.....just so he can return under another maren control....was this all a trick?

The cage lowered and a hatch opened in the bottom, ready to be filled with pure and powerfull energies. Eva glided to the dome and placed her hand on it, rubbing it with a smile as the children inside gazed with terror at her. "You all are in trustworthy hands, young visitors.." Eva said reassuringly, as she fazed herself into the dome. "I promise to make this painless...but feel free to scream." Eva playfully tossed the final ball from her hand over the visitors, and in a split second, it had multiplied rapidly, littering the top of the dome with dozens of replicas..one for every girl and boy. Eva extended her arm outward with a chuckle. "Hold still.."
She snapped her fingers. Every ball at the top came shooting down, one going into each child's back, and comming out, glowing a new color. Some glew blue, other's glew green, there was even a white or two here and there, followed by the usual swarm of yellow, but as the last visitor fell to his knees from weakness, Eva snapped her fingers again, and the dome faded away. Every small ball relased the Ideya it had colected, and as they Ideya fell victim and started to be sucked into the cage, Eva chuckled again, flying up and standing on the Gate. Now all that was left is to wait for Puc, and then they job is finished here.
