Midsummer NiGHTopia [open, and still accepting characters, humans now avalible]

Eva couldn't stand just watching this battle like some spectator...but it's not like there's anything else for her to do..Eva knows the rules to such confrontations, and just like any other rule, the only option is to follow them to the letter. Although it still killed her inside, she just had wait for Puc to work his magic...but for once...it would be nice if rules could be bent a little.

Puc grabbed onto one of the vines, scrapping the palm of his hand, he endured the pain, as he got to his feet on the vine, and continue his run to the head. Vaye continued to watch in anger having vines shot at Puc as he continued his balancing act, so far, all the vines have missed, and Puc found himself at the same height as the flower head, growling with sharp teeth.

Eva still felt clueless as to why Tray now had it out for Puc, when back at their last meeting, she had acted so... so irritatingly friendly with him. Perhaps along with the regaining of her abilities and powers, Tray had grown a spine and decided to finally challenge Puc...the theory sounded plausible...but it's nothing worth believing just yet.
"..That plant is nothing but a giant weed...." Eva coached quietly, cletching her fist tightly at the sight of Puc making his way up to the plant itself, "you can do it dear..."

Vaye wanted to torture Puc as long as she could, make him regret running away....leaving her behind....he would regret it, and face the consequences, as she order the head of the plant to attack keep her ground, the flower head tilt itself to create a swirling motion. Puc using his elevation and speed, was able to jump and grab hold of the plant on the side of its head.
He began to climb, he had to stop her, she didn't have to do this, Vaye was following false feelings....

"..Wait...Puc isn't going to stop the plant first? But with all that thrashing around-..!" It baffled Eva how Puc could be so persistant on one single target, even if massive and troublesome obsticals stand firmly in the way. It amazed her that he could adapt so well to change...but even with that, she still worried for his wellbeing.
...So help her if Puc comes back with so much as a scratch...

Puc continued to climb, each step getting him closer to reaching the top, ending this fight and strange rivalry, for the sake of himself, Eva, and especially Vaye, he continued his way, making one last leap to the surface, the plant had stopped moving Vaye looked straight at Puc, tears in her eyes......she wanted to give up.....but....Spores appeared out of the top of the plant, shaped like cotton, the fight would continue till there is one winner.
"I'm sorry Vaye, but your terror ends now" Puc says heroically as he let out a hyper scream, the spores flying out into the sky and Puc dashing in a mad rush at Vaye, who didn't move, didn't fight back, but held him in a hug as they fell off the plant together, which soon crumbed as they fell towards the water.

Seeing as Puc and Tray had fallen victim to gravity, soon to crash into the waters speeding toward them, Eva quickly broke free of her passive behavior and produced a glassy yellow barrior for the two to land on. It's the least she could do...but her mind was set on other things..
Puc's scream made her remember it all over again...protecting the lamb from the wolf, the fearsome and terrible wolf...and that scream..the howl the wofl had bellowed before begining his charge towards the innocent little lamb...
Eva wished she could just forget the horrible memories of that event, it's all nothing but a burden to her. Nothing but memories of violence..deception...and Puc's sweet face in a fearsome and sinister snarl..

"oh Puc...." All Vaye could do was take this hug as the last time she would see Puc, she let her selfish desires cloud the obvious, Puc had found another and that's it, Vaye was not seen in his mind as a soul mate now, just acquaintance, after her attack against him....a threat....
Both of them landed on Eva's projection like gelatin, able to withstand full impact, they slid off the side and back onto the beach sand, The giant plant menace decayed back into the sand, and Puc looked at Eva, a thumbs up for success.

Eva looked back at Puc and his happy symbol of victory, a classic signature of a job well done. Even if she still felt unnerved by the recolection of the horrible assault incident, Eva couldn't help but smile a little at Puc's pleasing gesture; he has been sucessful in battle..this should be a happy moment.
"Wonderful job, Puc..." Eva said with a smile as she decended back onto the sand, face pale, but heart warm again.

Puc walked back to Eva's side, while Vaye walked away in the other direction, "I want to say I'm sorry........but after all I've done to you...........it's best I don't say anything." Vaye walked away, once her powers returned, she would be able to go back to the dream gate and recover from this loss.....
Puc didn't say anything to her as she left, a part of his past was now vanishing, he would be able to live with less worries now....how rewarding...

Eva felt delighted to see that the bothersome fight that had interrupted their day has ended with victory, and with it finished, the day can get back to a peacefull mood once again. "Thank goodness that's over.." Eva said with a sigh, relieved to see that everything is just as it was before, quiet, calm, and giant cannibal-plant free. Looking to Puc again with admiration in her eyes, Eva gave a pleasing smile, but secretly...she couldn't help herself from checking to see that he was completly well..and as her eyes darted down and locked onto his hand, the smile collapsed into a frown, and the admiring eyes soon faded to guilt.
Acting on their own accord yet again, Eva's hands reached out for Puc's hand, cradling its scrape between the smooth texture of her gloves. This wound shouldn't be here...it doesn't deserve to be here...it's not good enough to rest on the hand of someone so wonderful..

It caught Puc off by surprise to see Eva's concern, his hand being examined in her's. "Please don't worry, I'm fi..." A jolt of pain went through his arm, he retract back, Eva must have touched a sensitive edge of the wound. "Perhaps we should head back, all I need is a bandage and I'll be fine, I also feel we could be attacked again, knowing this place is no longer a secret...." Puc understood Eva's concern, but it was just a wound....he hoped...

Eva's spirits deminished seeing that Puc's wound brought him pain, but with the thought of getting that horrible mark mended, Eva didn't mind heading back to their chambers now. With a quick flip backwards the portal was made, connecting the two back to their housing quarters, and leaving a suprised Exo on the oposite side to duck back behind the cover oh his door. "I will go fetch the proper provisons-!" Eva announced quickly, diving through her portal with a hurry. Opening her door up with a firm tug, Eva swiftly flew inside her quarters and began to rummage around for something that hasn't seen any use in ages: a little box painted with white.

It upset Puc, to worry Eva and to leave his hideaway once more, bu these were signs he couldn't control, as long as there were those from Puc past, he will continue to be an enemy.....as Wizeman created.
Returning back to their home he held his palm in his other hand, pain still pulsing, if there was an other damage other then this scar....he would have the find the cure...himself.

With Eva still rumaging around her quarters for the small box she urgently wanted to find, Exo stealthily peered around his door and observed Puc with an intrigued stare. ...Seeing as that hag still hasn't come back to his side yet...Exo figured there couldn't be any harm in doing this, and anyway, what could happen? With a casual close of his door and a gentle glide down the hallway, Exo gradually approached Puc, eyeing his hand with curiousity. Oh...poor little piglet hurt his hoof.
"...Have you been injured, Pac?" Exo asked with sympathy in his voice, sitting by Puc's side as a close friend would have.
It'll all be worth it just to see the look on the hag's face. That'll knock her down a few pegs.

"It's just a scratch...." Puc didn't want to bring attention to himself, he already made Eva worry, no one else should take concern in his wound. "I'll be fine..." Puc said, still unsure of himself, as he began to feel a little drowsy, sleep did seem nice right about.........now, as he collapsed to the floor.

Exo stared wide-eyed and speachless at Puc's unconcious body, stunned...and basically dumstruck by his sudden collapse. Too amazed to think of anything helpful to do, all Exo could do is stare at Puc with his frozen expression, utterly at a loss on what to do...until a choked-out stutter started his mind up again.
Eva stood gaping from her doorway, staring with the same wide-eyed expression as her brother at Puc, every now and again a squeak escaping from her open mouth. "YOU-!" Eva suddenly boasted, dropping her box of medical equipment in exchange for holding a cold glare at Exo, who now amazingly remembered the man in need right below him. "I LEAVE FOR ONE MINUTE...ONE....AND YOU-...YOU-.." Eva was on the verge of exploding, enraged and in panic about what's happened to Puc in her absense, but seeing Exo here only provided her a scapecoat for all the blame.
"Now hold on Eva-" Exo began defensively, quickly bending down and picking Puc up, "Shouldn't you be putting that energy to helping your Piglet? Last I checked, he was kind of unconcio-!"
"ONE MORE WORD, EXO....ONE MORE WORD.." Eva threatened in a hiss, grabing the box back off the floor and throwing her door open. "GET PUC IN HERE." Exo was confused about all of this, but he hiked Puc in with a annoyed groan and dropped him off on Eva's bed, and after doing so, was immediately shoved out through a slamed door. "Hold on Puc-" Eva coached quietly, messing around through her box for anything that might help slow the cut down in whateer it's doing to him. With carefull hands, Eva placed a square white cloth on Puc's wound, and ripping off a long strip, wrapped it securely over the mess with medical tape. It was a medicore fix for now...but...Eva was never really wonderful in medical situations..

Puc dreamed, his body limb, but his mind over active, he saw himself, going through the dream gate, to join those in the world of the living, those that dream wonderingly live, the creators of nightopias, but there was a difference, those that live in the living, now transformed, a different appearance, and a different feeling...
Why was he seeing this? It just couldn't be, he thought about Eva, get rid of this alternative world, just relax his mind with the one he loves, Eva........no other being like her.....She was the only one for him.
"Wrong!" a voice echoed, he didn't understand the interruption, as his thoughts floated away.
"Who's there........." Puc called out, unsure of this intruder.......
"You'll soon know.....Master's orders..."

Puc awoke, sitting up quickly, and noticing his surroundings "Eva?......Exo?.....where am.....what happened.....?" Puc was in a different room, his hand was bandaged, and Eva and Exo were healing him....it was obvious....he got full attention for his fall.......he blushed, embarrassed by all this.

"Puc..." Eva breathed out blissfully, stopping her hand's flight through her supplies as she leaned over, and gave him a little hug. "You're back in my room, sweetheart..." Eva began gently as she let her grasp of Puc go, leaning herself back as to allow him air to breath. "..I'm afraid you fainted on the floor outside...but Exo brought you in to me, and thankfully, you've only been out for a little while..."
Eva felt elated to see Puc lively once again, but with his redening face, she still couldn't keep her eyes from darting back to her white box. "...Do you feel a need to lie back down?" Eva asked as she moved a hand to Puc's forehead. ...he doesn't feel warm...but then..why the red?

"I'm sorry.........I didn't mean to make you all worry." Puc felt guilty, after trying to make this yet another special day with the one he loves, a change of course makes this day unbarable. and now he reamins, laying on Eva's bed, being tended to due to carelessness. Puc refused by sitting up, getting to his, bearely keeping himsefl stable, I should get some rest....in my room......again....I'm sorry...." and walked away, a pain swelling inside...

Eva didn't want Puc to feel guilty for something that couldn't be helped, but if he truely feels eaten up inside about all of this...then perhaps it would be wise to let him have his space. Puc has already done so much for her...it would only be fair to respect his desires and allow him to recooperate in peace, even if his state of condition still looked a little untrustworthy. With a thud the white box was placed back where it had been always placed, back on it's lonely little shelf in isolation to all other items...just like the room's owner.

Puc entered his room and shut the door, falling back on his bed, the voice spoke to him again.
"You're wrong Puc....." the voice said, echoing in his head
"Just shut up!" Puc told himself, holding his hands to his face.
"Just admit it, give in, and accept."
Puc was being offered a choice he would never agree to, yet why was he thinking about it......?

Eva burried her face in her pillow and let the light grows dull, letting a cast of gray form over the ususal white, but wanting to rest herself....how redicuolus the thought. No, there's always something...and today's something was the hand belonging to whoever it was knocking softly on her door. With barely any noise at all Eva lifted herself off her bed and glided over to her door, and unspurisingly, was greeted by the black and blue colored face of Chive. "..I heard yelling.." Chive said flatly, aleady equiped with his brush on his back. "..Is everyone alri-?"
"Would you like your talk?" Eva interupted emptily, staring into Chive's eyes as he nodded his head in glee.
"Then come in...I will tell you whatver you want.."

Puc closed his eyes and he slowly fell to sleep, the voice soon following after.
"Come now, it's simple, just give up, and your happiness will be preserved."
Puc ignored the voice, this sound was annoying...but avoidable.
"Don't try to hide from me Puc, there will be trouble.....you know that already."
Puc couldn't argue.....the pain that pulsed through his body, something was trying to take him over....he had to stay strong...not give in to this force......

"Proto...arise" Wizeman told Lei-Lei, everything was going exactly as planned; the take over of the dreamers, the sealing of nightmares greatest threats, and one perfect nightmaren doing all of his commands with out a single loss, and yet........"It has come to my concern that there is a need for other like yourself, strong, disciplined, loyal, the original design for the nightmarens, and yet only your can handle such tasks. Therefore, there are others you will fight, first the 3 in the captive cell block. If they are worthy, keep them alive....that is all for now."
"Yes master.." Lei-Lei began to walk away, but something came to mind, "What if they fail to meet your expectations Master?"
"then they are a threat to nightmare, and threats....must be eliminated...." Wizeman's voice grew cold on the final word before Lie-Lei departed to the captives.

Chive has wanted to talk with Eva ever since that night she failed to return home after venturing to the forest, but to be given his chance for answers after so long..it made him feel..nervous. There were so many answers that Chive wanted from Eva, so many odd theories and conclusions that he hasn't been able to fully grasp, but as usual...he wouldn't get to ask any of them...he actually really never does...Eva always tends to answer everything he wants through a colorful tale of events rather than through short phrases, and ever since she had taken a moment to get herself worked up enough to share anything...her mouth hasn't stopped moving, not even for a mere breath.
Chive listened with awe and intrest as his older sibling spoke, his wonderous eyes following her movements as she paced calmly back and forth, and gradually...Chive was able to put some of the pieces together...and soon, her had created an image that even he had never thought possible.
"..So the placement of Puc in your service is only because he is of no use anymore?" Chive asked calmly, polishing his brush handle while Eva turned to him sharply. "He is of use." Eva replied in a snap, "...it is the old Puc that has been deemed unuseful...but since that horrific wolf is nothing but a whisper in the wind now, the real Puc has returned to us, and he is of use."
"But Eva...I do not comprehend something.." Chive said with a frown, looking into his sister's pale face, it too growing into a frown, "...if Puc had his memories and thoughts taken away...then does that not mean that the real Puc is the wolf..?"
