Promoting NiGHTS

We want SEGA to pay attention to us because we're right about NiGHTS, not because we're being trollish.

Hello, I'm from the NiGHTS fanbase.

We still have not seen anything of NiGHTS in Sonic & SEGA AllStars Racing.
I am one of many who would love to see NiGHTS in this game. If he is not in the main game then can you please make him a DLC character?
Greg Johnson, creator of ToeJam & Earl, has recently stated that DLC might be planned for AllStars Racing. If NiGHTS is not in the game,we the fans would appreciate it you would please make NiGHTS a DLC character. We would support it by buying NiGHTS DLC for this game.

Please let NiGHTS take part in AllStars Racing.

so...we are trying to make NiGHTS appear again in Sega games as a cameo appearance...for the twelfth odd time??
Can't we just get Sega to make an English release of the NiGHTS re-release for the PS2?

No, we're trying to get NiGHTS as a playable character. At least as a DLC anyway.

hmm... I'll do it! But getting NiGHTS PS2 released over to the U.S. or anyother part of the word would be nice to.

It might happen if we can get SEGA's attention and make them see that NiGHTS has such a large following!
This is for NiGHTS in general, not just to get her/him into one game.

true, I guess it would work if NiGHTS does become a character in these unnecessary multi-collab games that are just copies of any of nintendo's mario-based multi-player games, just to get a better fan base for NiGHTS. Because what we have to understand, is NiGHTS popularity, even with all the fan sites, is quite small, due to the fact that NiGHTS has only been in 3 games [including the Christmas game] and has made several cameo appearances in the sonic games.

So I understand why their is a need for NiGHTS as playable character, but yet another question comes to mind, what kind of car would NiGHTS drive. More important, why would NiGHTS ever drive a car?!?!

That brings up the question of Sonic Riders. NiGHTS was in the game, on a board.
Sonic is the fastest thing alive, NiGHTS can fly. Why do they need boards or cars or anything else?
To help them fit into the theme better, I guess. But it still seems silly...

I'm more interested in seeing that SEGA remembers that NiGHTS is expected, rather than how they portray her, although that is important too.

well of course SEGA remembers NiGHTS, that is why NiGHTS has so many cameo appearances in the later sonic games.
To me, I think it would make more sense to see NiGHTS on a board rather then a car, flying aspect wise. But what needs to happen, is to get NiGHTS as a main character. With the decline of the Sonic games, a new character must take his place as head honcho, might as well be NiGHTS

Also, to help promote NiGHTS in general, I'm working on a NiGHTS into Dreams fan music album. I've got two songs done and recorded already. They're not major ones, but a fourth of my album is already done.

Well unfortunately, everyone who sent those emails to Sega got a message back tonight basically saying that Sega had blocked the email. I'm thinking Sega possibly found out about this plan ahead of time and decided to have any email having to do with NiGHTS or having the content that we sent blocked. However, this means we're going to have to make that much bigger of a hype. We have to really kick it into gear. We have to post NiGHTS related stuff on any gaming website we can find and discuss it at all those places.

I have sent an Email to SEGA, yet afterward, I have read this thread to see from Musashi_HUmar that all NiGHTS related material has been blocked by Sonic Team. Now I feel bad about Emailing Sonic Team. XD

It would be cool to see NiGHTS as download-able content in SEGA Allstar racing. I will probably get one of the systems that allow download into games if NiGHTS is a DLC.

I have to say, I really have no reason to buy the game unless NiGHTS is in it.
There are so many racing games that they just don't interest me anymore...

The only games by Sega that even phase me as something I would rent would be platformers... I Haven't played some of the newer sonic games... The only game I'm looking forward to by Sega is "Project Needle Mouse". I also kinda want the Re-make of NiGHTS, but I might just end up getting it at a cheap price off of ebay...

well i think either they dont think people like NiGHTS all that much or they are sick of all the constant emails about NiGHTS they really should look at them though at least care enough to look you know

Exactly! Thats what I mean!

Here's the thing
SEGA does pay attention to their fans, but what we also have to understand is their a video game company, companies of which have games in progress ranging release from the beginning to end of the year a year in advance.
So just because we sent them thousands of emails now about having NiGHTS in everything, doesn't mean they'll just give the answer when asked, if they already have it palanned that NiGHTS is in their new SEGA racing game, then we'll see during the game's release.

Seriously I haven't heard much news about the newer game because I'm stuck with only a gamecube, N64, and Gameboy but I have a DS emulator so I should care.I heard Alex Kidd is gonna be in it. HIM AND NOT NiGHTS? Does anybody even care about him any more?! Why put him in and not NiGHTS?

That would be the sensible thing to expect, Korin.
It's just strange that SEGA is being this tight lipped. They have AiAi and Samba on their forum banner, but not NiGHTS? I would think that they would want to make a fuss over NiGHTS being included...

Well in the mean time, just keep discussing how you want NiGHTS in ASR everywhere on the internet you possibly can. If you can get anyone you know IRL to get support from too, get them in on it. Now is the time to make as much noise for this as we possibly can.
