My "best friend"

Today officially ended one of the longest friendships I ever had. However, I guess it was over long before today. The past year and a half or so my best friend started avoiding me whenever possible and was not discreet about it, but would still talk to me every once in a while. However more recently, he's been very blatantly avoiding me. So today I finally cornered him and had it out. I won't repeat what all was said because its not appropriate for this forum. Anyway, it ended with me going of the handle and our friendship being completely terminated. I know that he wasn't being a true friend, but it still hurts some. Sorry, but I just had to tell this somewhere...

I'm sorry to heart it, but at least you had some closure.
Anyone who can't be civil or honest isn't much of a friend in the first place.

Yeah, I know... I just wish he could have at least had the decency to be upfront about it all. Oh well. Now I guess I'm in the market for a new best friend.

In a sense yeah, but its not the same. For guys, we have our girlfriends/wives and our best friends, which are usually other guys. My girlfriend is something higher than a best friend sorta. Its hard to explain.

Losing friends is very tough, I had a friend who lost a friend, (not myself, someone else) and he went through a very tough time.

It's a harsh thing, losing friends, especially since you've been friends with him for a long time, then he began to avoid you, seems very messy in my opinion.

I really hope things will look up for you. You do have us in Dreams for the Fandom, but I know that having offline friends also is very important.

I'm sorry to hear about our friend loss Musashi. I wish there was more I could do to help but alas, I live all the way in the Pacific. I'm sure things will look up for you though. Don't forget we'll always be here for you!

Wow, that is sad. You know something like that happened to me not to long ago. My best Friend Who has been for the past 11 years just stopped hanging out with me and barely spoke to me though she never said we aren't friends any more I just don't know if she is. I never got the courage to ask her out like I was going to. But anyways enough of my problems this is your topic

Well the nice thing is that here on Dftf, we're all friends.
