Midsummer NiGHTopia [open, and still accepting characters, humans now avalible]

The dark nightmaren looked at Jackal it strated laughing again.
"Good your finally getting the cards out but..."
The nightmaren that the dark star possed gand became black the death card came shooting out of Jackal's deck into his hand.
"There that means now you have to die if you dont win and dont worry i'll keep my promise if you win my race must keep any promise they make or it would be like we never existed now let the game begin!"
five random cards shoot out of his deck surrounding all three of them he tossed the death card into the pile.
now whoever gets the death card looses you want to go first?"

Cront, looked at Queen bella from the ground smileing.
"Get away get away GET AWAY!"
Cront's red and orange eye's became red and black he shot up off the ground blasting a portal blast at bella sending her back to the forest.
"Whew..."

"damn...." Jackle mumbled under his breath, it was already set up that there was no way of losing, But with Dark star adding the death card of his choice, the risk was high. "Fine, I'll go first, and I choose the card behind me....go ahead....you view it..."

Queen Bella closed her eyes, whatever he did now would be the end of her, so she thought. Opening her eye again, she was back in the forest area. Her body collapsed to the ground, she couldn't stand any longer. He sight grew dim and she moaned with hunger.

The dark star made the card come to his slave looking at the card.
"You got the three swords coming at you!"
The dark star dropped the card making three swords come at jackal.
"My turn I pick the card on to the side of me."

Cront, looked at the green blood on his hand laughing.
"Good I have this blood now for a good rest..."
Cront's, sword became a poddium he landed on it and fell asleep.

lifting his cape, the swords wen through Jackle like thin air, but he would have to be careful, he couldn't avoid all the traps. He looked at the card Dark star picked, and told him in a straight tone, "8 of wands cast the spell of curse, simultaneously."

"Yikes that could be bad for me four cards left Jackal, can you handle it one card could leave you and her in a foggy grave."
Lintery, felt her self trapped but she wasn't exactly awake she was getting the one power she lost back.
"What the I can see it Jackal the dark star fighting wait what is this the dark star doing unleashing an attack wait this is the future it's the vision power I have it again so im in the spirit world when the dark star knocked me out I must have came here..."
Lintery, thought about the vision she had it had to be a mistake she gave that power up to be brought back from the dead.
"Now if jackal and the dark star are going to fight I might want to stay in here just until they settle down and besides there is no pain in here out there I'd be screaming in pain..."

Jackle boldly made his next selection, "I choose the card in front of me." Whatever choice he made still risked his and Lintery's lives. He waited to to hear from Dark star, his fate.

"I suppose so..?" Eva responded, half intrested in what the being had to say. She looked around the area, watching the leaves dance back and forth on the branches. She started to feel strangely mellow, losing intrest in conversation as she stared at the leaves.

The dark star took the card.
"Well this helps her oh well it well be funny to watch her die awakener go!"
The card shot to the portal waking her up.
"What the why am I in a barrior what's going on?"
Lintery, looked at the barrior seeing that she was in the middle of some card game she groaned her cut open scar was still bleeding it hurt she felt that some of the pain went it only hurt like the day she got it.
"Well Three cards left I pick the card to the side of you."

"Yes, we're here to relax in the spring." Puc said for Eva, he was puzzled why she acted so nervous and out of place. Did something bother her. The blue female creature smiled, "That's wonderful, glad you two could be here today. My name is Lei-Lei, and if you need any assistance and service today, I'll be more then welcomed to be there at any request." Lei-Lei lead the way through the entrance of the spring, then remembering something else, she turned back to the couple. "We also have special relaxation room if you two would like to spend the night?"

"Damn it!" Jackle yelled, as the card turn to reveal, Judgment. The card began to spin rapidly as Jackle gave an angry face. "You choose if the picture on the card will be facing up, or upside down. Call it right, and you get to pick the card's effect. Guess wrong, and the remaining card you have, will be played all at once. So pick a choice....!!!"

The dark star looked at the angry Jackal he gave a wicked smile at Jackal.
"Upside down I say that card go!"
Lintery, looked at the spining card she reached into her back pack quickly grabbing the card of life she would be lucky if she could last another ten seconds she pulled out healing water she drank the nasty stuff healing herself but barely she looked at the dark star then at Jackal she touched the barrior mabye it wasn't a dream she had got her power back she saw it she knew which one was the death card she grabbed the life card and waited to see if Jackal would pick the wrong card.

Eva drifted off into space as Lei-Lei talked, lost in her mind, unable to find a way out. The gentle sounds of the leaves blowing reminded her of Nightmare. Everything pleasent to her reminded her of Nightmare. She bit her lip slightly, wondering if anyone was starting to wonder why she hadn't returned, but she decided to try and think on more pleasent terms. She zoned back in as Lei-Lei finished her sentence. "Oh..I suppose..maybe...if.." she looked to Puc for an opinion, "...if you want?"

The card stopped, and there was a moment of silence, as Jackle looked up. looking at the picture, it was upside down. Dark star had chose it right, and now Jackle would have to wait for the final words, there was nothing left he could do....but to wait.

The dark star laughed it was time he made his choice.
"Death to jackal go death card!"
The black smoke surrounded Jackal Lintery, quickly threw the card of life to Jackal if he caught it he could live.
"Jackal use that!"
Lintery, colapsed again but not fainting the dark star really did a number on her she had to take it easy she waited as the barrior grew smaller.

Jackle smiled as the black smoked shield him from Dark Star, he understand what had been set, a slow and painful death. He caught whatever was thrown at him, a card with a bright border, the card of life. Jackle grinned at it's appearance, but had no use for it. With thick smoke, Jackle looked at his cards that were around him, and found what he needed, as he played it, breaking out of the smoke, it reveled to Dark Star, The Fool. Soon after, the black smoke began to appear around Dark Star as well.

"Yes, we'll stay here for one night." He told Lei-Lei as jumped with excitement, before leading them inside. Walking through the door way lead them to the lobby and front deck, and from that room, there were four paths that broke off. Lei-Lei waited for their requests. Puc turned to Eva, and whispered to her "You sure you're okay?"

The dark star's body began to cough.
"Even if you defeat me it's to late thanks to her a part of me well live on forever or at least until he is killed he shall defeat them he well kill his false friend and take over life as we know it!..."
The dark star died quickly turning to ash his last word's were you'll be sorry.

Lintery, managed to get out of the shield after the dark star's death she was uneasy she knew that the dark star was partaily still alive in her false friend Cront this fact made her fall again she landed on the road looking at the blood on her she had lost to much blood her vision went blurry she kept fighting to stay awake.

Cront, woke up he felt a feeling of rage in him it was the dark star.
"I'LL KILL THEM!"
Cront, flew off taking his sword flying to the place where his first victom would be.

Eva wanted to slap herself; Puc obviously was catching on to her change in mood. She looked to him, trying to be cheery again. "I'm fine Puc....just...new to this sort of thing." she whispered happily.

Jackle laughed loud and coughed, his throat throbbed with pain. "I guess that's it...." He said with his strained voice, he could barely stay afloat as he descended down, first gently, but gravity did the rest, and plummeted him to the ground. He laded limp, with a smile on his face.

Puc was puzzled with what Eva meant. Was it the fact they were together with no worries, or did Eva just not like any of the places Puc has offered. "Will you be using the hot springs now or what?" Lei-Lei asked, growing impatient with them being indecisive.

"Of course we'll be using them, or esle I wouldn't be standing at this STUIPD front desk, speaking to someone like yo-"
"Yes, sorry for not responding." Eva replied cheerfully, gripping her still folded coat tightly as she tried to hold back a sudden fit of sarcasm. Interuptions always annoyed her, and considering this one involved someone like Puc, only made it harder to hold back. She continued her smile, hoping Puc knew what to say....because she sure didn't.

Lintery, looked at the ground her vision slowly returning.
"Jackal, thanks..."
Lintery, looked at Jackal.
"Hey you ok?"

Lintery, had another vision it was cront, he held a nightmaren by the neck.
"Where is it!"
"..."
"Very well if you wont tell me then i'll just do this."
Cront, slashed the nightmaren killing it Lintery, returned to reality shocked.
"Great I knew that it would have been a bad idea Spire, is going to turn evil..."

Cront, looked at a beach village he chuckled to himself.
"I will find it!"

"Apology accepted." Lei-Lei said with grin, she then cleared her throat to give the couple more guidance. "You'll entering the hot spring between these two doorways beside me." She said as she stretched her arms out, pointing to each door way. "Both these door ways lead to two separate changing areas, just in case your embarrassed of stripping in front of your lover." she said, ending with a giggle. Puc blushed a bright red thinking about it, it made him almost fall over and fainting. "From there, there are three springs, two smaller ones for fewer people, and our largest one, the community spring, which everyone is aloud to relax in. I should also mention these spring are outdoors, and in both the changing areas are bathing and showering areas, for those that wanted colder water." After finishing her guidance, Lei-Lei reached under her desk, and pulled out towels and bathing caps, one for Eva and Puc. "If there is anything else you need, please don't hesitate to ask." she ended her little talk with a charming fake smile. Puc looked at Eva still with blush, whispering to her. "I know this is sudden....but....uh...well....do...um...you mind....being in the same dressing area.....as me...??"

Eva looked down and felt her face reden. She wasn't changing clothes...It's not like she could anyway. Her black suit was the only thing she had left other than her coat, which she wouldn't be getting wet anytime soon. "I-I don't mind Puc....it's fine with me..." she murmered, shifing her gaze to him. "Shall we go?" she asked, wanting to hurry and get away from Lei-Lei.

"alright." Puc said as he held onto Eva's hand while carrying the rest of his current belongings and through the curtain on their left. As they passed by Lei-lei, she giggled and gave them a playful stare, "how cute." she told them before the curtain covered her out. Puc looked around, there were shelves where people placed their belongings before entering the spa. The room was covered with strange decorations of warriors and dragons. Puc sighed, "We're alone again." Puc kissed Eva on the cheek before stretching the collar of his outfit, letting it come loose, exposing Puc's pale chest.

Eva's eyes darted to the shelves as Puc's collar opened, trying to maintain the most professional face she could muster. She calmly made her way to an open shelf and set her coat inside it, her expresion slowly colapsing into a nervous grin. She methodically unzipped her boots and placed them next to her coat, not daring to turn around until she was finished with everything. Eva shifted a little as she looked down at herself, seeing her legs clearly for the first time, in a long time. She uncliped her broach with care and removed her glove, sliding the broach inside it as she tucked the glove under her coat.
Eva began straightening everything she placed in the shelf, hesitant to turn around.

Cront, started attacking the village throwing flames all over teh place killing several Nightmaren.

Lintery, hovered in the air thinking to herself.
"Why did Jackal protect me and what did the dark star want my head hurts?"
Lintery, looked at Jackal for the second time looking to see the death card she picked it up and tossed it into the air and blasting it destroying it she walked over to Jackal.
"Now we all will be safe."

Puc tried several times to advert his attention from Eva undressing, but couldn't help himself, he noticed her eyes doing the same thing. Puc felt she would be more conferable if she was left alone, while changing. So letting his arms drop, the rest of his outfit fell as well. Stepping out of it, he placed on an open shelf, and quickly covered himself with a towel. "I'll be in the small springs, join me when you're ready." Puc left the oddly decorated changing room, to the settle area of the hot spring.

Jackle opened his eyes, he blinked a couple of times, surprised that he was still alive from his risky attack. He looked up to see Lintery and smiled at her. "Lintery......I'm glad you're alright..." He was too injured to act any other way then kind.
