I would only glomp the original NiGHTS, but I'm not sure if that would cause Merging.
It seems to start with NiGHTS' hand, so unless (s)he put them up to stop the impending glomp, it might not have an effect.
Assuming that my hand theory is accurate anyway. It would be funny if you could glomp-merge though...
