To whom it may concern, and any forums members who come a long.

This is Jackal-lover68 obviously. It's come to my attention that both forums owned by Cornsilk have majorly fallen in the recent months. People dont seem to log in anymore, and others have drifted away. Why? The reasons are obvious, I will point out some of the major facts that have made the forums so slow. Cause at this point the plan on people posting will not work, no one logs in. DFtF is forum based on NiGHTS obviously. NiGHTS only has two games, while sonic has several. Lets look at some of these Sonic Forums. Each is more successful member wise, admin wise, and topic wise. While here on the fandom bodies are weak to come by, thus we have few moderators, or admins. This brings us back to the thing that NiGHTS is an underrated series. Sadly these forums do have more trolls. Yet with the admins, those threats are usually eliminated.

I've come to notice another major fact between these forums. Topics. Mostly everyone posts in one or two topics and stays in that section. Leaving the other parts of the forums to be ignored, and eventually to be bumped. Like happy thought of the day, corrupt a wish, etc. Those topics were almost the highest activity. While our main entertainment was those of us that participated in the roleplay, arts, stories. Once the roleplay Midsummer Nightopia was over all fell apart eventually. I've thought of starting up a roleplay inorder to bring members back, but even that seems farfetched. For no one will hear of it...

What I'm getting at is, with the less activity happening no new recruits will pop by. What I ask of the people who come in as guests to our forums, please. If you are a member, log in. If you are a guest, simply passing through. Sign up, believe it or not this used to be a thriving community. I will continue to post in the story section of our forum in hopes you'll come and give constructive critisism. I believe there is little posts over the fact that, usually only one person at a time is on. It gets rather lonesome.

I'm really not sure how to get this forum going anymore, I haven't really seen SiLK on msn lately. I also know I'm not the most active person of this forum, but it's sad to see it so dead.

Well we may need to call a forum meeting with SiLK. In my opinions just asking people to log in and post WILL not work. If someone like chugga, or ncs or someone populers... Lets played this game, I bet people would flock to certain forums if they liked the games. Maybe we could also change the flow of the forum. So... Its wouldn't be much of a NiGHTS forum. But have a sub section for it. SiLK would never go for that though,

It'd be useful indeed, I thought of that to. But I didn't want to bother when it came to asking you though. I've called for a meeting with SiLK from her youtube page. Whenever she logs in, she'll see it. I wish to talk to her about these matters. In this lp, you could possibly post a link to our forum or her channel, etc.But before we do that we've got A LOT of cleaning up to do. We need to make the forum look appealing. Roleplays, games, stories, discussion in general.

I'd mention the forums of course in the description, maybe a few times in the video itself. I will also wait to do this till after the holidays/meeting so things aren't so hectic, I hate to see this forum dead as it is at the moment.

an interesting idea to bring this forum back to the peak it used to be at, got my attention of course. I got news from S29 about attempt, and felt I should share my two cents on the thought. A generous idea, but would be difficult to get new members here in a forum that hasn't been touch in months in the various subtopics. Perhaps surviving members can start new topics to discuss, new games to play, or perhaps another roleplay to embark on before sending requests for more members. I'm willing to help with new topics to add in to try to get the site going again, and if we don't get new people, then think of this as the survivor's playground, and the forum is ours to play in to our content.

Well put Korin, and I indeed plan on continuing my little series of books. As far as the getting new members, yeah thats gonna be tough. Only cause this is such an underrated series. NiGHTS is about so much more than what people realize. Anyway, not a moment to waste. I am going to start thinking of ideas for games on this forum. I've seen many on other forums that I surf around on. I'm sure I can find something.

I'll tell you why I stopped logging on. At the time when I was on, it just was becoming so dead. A lot of times it was only me online. So eventually I just stopped coming on.

Pumping some life back up into this place would indeed make this S29 a happy one.
If there's something I can do, throw the idea at me~.

I just moved this, since we use the Community area for life issues (except for the happy thought topic).

I would like to remind everyone about the PM and email options on all of our profiles.
You'll get me a lot faster if you use them, especially since youtube seems to have made profile comments nonexistent. :\

But I want to see more activity here too! I even have a topic for suggestions on how to improve the site, feel free to flood it with your ideas.
It's in the Dreams for the Fandom subforum, naturally.

I can understand that. It is rather boring to go somewhere where no one is doing anything. I can only do so much here on my own with maybe one or two other people.

This thread is not the way to make the forum active. Just go out into the forum threads and get posting!
It was just Musashi and me for a while, we can't keep things active by ourselves!

I was reviving the revival form because I thought making another revival form would be rather silly. c: However, I may post some fanfictions here sooner or later. Hopefully that will spark things up again. c:

Please don't post revival topics anymore, guys. They don't help.

The problem is a lack of activity all over the site, so unless for some reason you don't want to post in any existing topics, I see no reason for topics like this.

And you all have the ability to make new topics if there's something that you want to post about. Get out there and get typing! Smile

Since this topic doesn't seem to be going anywhere, I'll lock it.
Use the Suggestions topic if you want to discuss ideas for the forum.
