Secret Santa 2010

Please do not sign up for this until you are sure that you can deliver a gift to your assigned elfee!

Also known as Elfing, this is where everyone who signs up is assigned someone to "elf."
This means that you do something nice for them, in this case we encourage a picture.

So to sign up:
* Send a Private Note to SiLK
* State Any Preferences (do you want a picture of your fanmaren? a pet? a favorite character?)
* By signing up, You Agree to draw for another member. No One gets Left Out! (Because nobody here is that mean spirited, I hope!)

When you have finished your gift art, do NOT post it anyplace public!
Instead, give it to SiLK .

I will distribute the gift art to everyone.

Now the last part is that in the version that I play, all gifts are anonymous. That means that you do not sign it or let your "elfee" know who is giving them this gift.

At the end, the recipient gets to guess who their "Santa" or "Elf" is.
I encourage anyone to then give a thank you gift back to your benefactor, but it's not required. it's just a nice gesture.

Anyone who stiffs their assigned person and fails to give anything, will be banned from next year's Secret Santa. I do not like seeing anyone getting their feelings hurt because someone else didn't care enough to do such a simple thing. If you're not sure that you can follow through, please just don't sign up!

So to recap, contact me privately to sign up, draw a picture for the person I assign to you, give the picture to me to pass out, and if you're feeling appreciative, draw something in return for the person giving to you when you find out who they are.

Come on guys, we need more people for this! This is open to everyone, except those who failed to gift anything in previous years.

The Secret Santa only needs you to draw, or write a little poem, or do something nice following the theme that you will be given (if your "elfee" has requested one).

So please sign up by noting me privately! I'd like to assign everyone ASAP so that we can guarantee that the gifts will be finished by Christmas!

We have an odd number of participants, and the total number has disappointed me. Don't we have a stronger sense of community than this?

I'll start assigning people, but please PM me as soon as you can if you want to take part in this exchange!
Be sure that you can finish your piece by Christmas!
