Monthly Event

I think things have gotten a little slow around here. What I propose we do is have some sort of event around here at least once a month. Whether it be just a small celebration, a competition, or something, I think it would make things a bit more lively around DFTF. It doesn't have to be something major. Just something to keep us going, that's all. Who's with me?? ^_^

I just came up with an idea, but this is something I should make as a thread. For the writing section, how about a challenges thread? I know that I should make it myself, and I will, I just need to think of ideas for challenges before I put it up.

A contest would be nice to have. Like an art contest, raffle or SiLK once had caption contests.

Also, since I'm too much into art, how about a collaboration of some sort?

Which reminds me, the old thread had a game called, "Round Robin" another thing to do is to reinvent that game here.

Well we'll have to get some votes on it before we go through with it, but I like it, PiCKLE.

As for the contests, they were never very popular, but I'll reinstate those if there's interest.
I would dearly love to see this place become more active!

The Round Robin game is old news, but what about the monthly events? Only two members are interested?

there are already a lot of posts in the roleplay and in the games that keep this sight active.
With monthly events, although they sound fun, it is likely that they could end up being one sided
either with someone having full reign of the event or just having little participation.

Don't forget to give a reason why you're for or against.

I agree with this idea. My reason is because the RPG and games don't make the forum fully active. If we were to have a event maybe it can make the forum closer to being fully active.
