Who Remembers Time Gal?
I have a Sega CD game called Time Gal. It's about a villain named Luda who steals a time machine and goes to change the course of history to make himself emperor of the world, or something like that.
The scientist who invented the machine equips his skimpily clad, green haired assistant, Reika (AKA "Time Gal") with a mini time machine and sends her after him.
Time Gal skips from time period to time period, making silly comments and getting out of bad situations with the use of her ability to stop time for short periods.
Eventually she finds Luda (if she hasn't run out of spare lives by then) and the epic final battle ensues.
So I'm just curious as to whether anyone else knows this game?
I've been trying to find a UFO catcher doll of her and they just don't seem to exist! Time Gal is one of my favorite characters, despite having only the one corny game XD
Well, okay that's not quite true. Reika reappeared in Castle of Shinigami III, sent from the future to assist.
Kind of cool, actually. I added the game to my Christmas list!

Re: Who Remembers Time Gal?
Time Gal for its time in the 90s, was a tough game in and of itself
I had a friend who had a Sega CD and could never beat this game.
With it's quick control pad response and fast three choice decisions, one wrong move and a life is gone, 2 left.
I liked it, it was both quick response and memorization of patterns and answers.
Plus each level had varies 'you failed' scenes, making it unique for detail.
overall, it's a great game, and a must have for the Sega CD

What I liked was that after beating the game, you could get the codes to watch each animated sequence again.
I still have the codes in the back of my game booklet.

Sounds cool! I'll keep an eye out for it when I'm on the prowl for new games.. we've been getting randomly lucky finding Sega CD games at thrift stores lately.
