Silk's Dreams

Last night I was facing some wizard type in a warehouse and he apparently was animating things.
He ultimately said some "Behold this!" type line and a huge pteronadon skeleton came very slowly walking our way.
Since that's my favorite extinct animal, my reaction was "OH! I LOVE You!!!"
Then I had to flee for my life from the skeleton XD

And I was for some reason wearing winter gloves, which made it very hard to get the door open (regular house door) and I just gave up on locking it, but took off with my dog, Trinka running alongside me.
Then Trinka got lost briefly, so I ended up in a neighbor's yard and for some reason, this lady was selling dog collars and summer shoes. One set of shoes was rubber with holes, like it was just loosely braided, but they had a western cowboy boot type pattern.
I remember looking ta a collar with some mesh netting and thinking "Oh this is that Illusion collar that Cesar Milan developed..."

Oh, and Musashi, I dreamed that I found a DS on the road and when I turned it on, it was yours. It was a red one.
The only thing was that the game data was a Force.

I also flew very briefly to escape some guy.
Some doctor type was holding me and I did a really cool flip out of his arms and landed several feet away, then sprouted my wings (which I have in a lot of dreams) and flew straight up.
It was funny, the guy's partner was going "How did she do that?!?"

That was kind of cool, I dreamed that I had a larger version of the head of my Jackle doll that I made, and I was able to pull it partially down over my head so that my face was between the collar and the black head. i was wearing it like a mask XD

My dreams were very random.
There was a fish I was trying to save because it wasn't really a fish, and in the process I spotted some black sand (which I want for real, for my aquarium) so I was wondering aloud if it came in purple, then the shop owner appeared and started pressuring me to buy a plastic tank with blue gravel and a betta, even though I didn't want it.

Then it skipped to some house with a big round tub made of what looked like marble, but it was swirls of orange and for some reason my subconscious was calling it golden.

Then there was an ice cream truck pulling out because some dream relative had an ice cream route, and my cousins were getting to ride in it, but I was wondering if they had ice cream trucks in the UK...

My dreams seem to be more abstract lately.

I dreamed that I was complaining to my brother about the new season of Reboot, because it followed Bob and the guardians rather than the sprites from Mainframe. In my dream it was still a good, funny show though.
You know, I'd settle for a show starring only guardians. I miss Reboot...


There was also something about filming a movie where someone was getting their front end buried in the sand. and then there was a worm so I was insisting that someone move it, then someone picked it up and flung it away and went "There!"
So I got annoyed and went "I said to move it, not smash it to death..."
even in my dreams, I'm a pacifist toward most lifeforms XD

Then some scientist type brought what looked like a taco shaped crab shell in light brown. We looked inside since it seemed to be broken off something, and there were two sharp spinal ridges running side by side.
Then the dream went weird and it became a weird shark with a flat nose and a bulge over its eyes. The scientist type was saying how it was malformed and the bulge over the eyes was its malformed nose, pushed out of position...

Then it was a boat that looked like a weird shark, and we were interrogating some guy we'd found floating in the ocean in it. He was trying to go to England or something.
So it cut to us walking down some small shopping village sidewalk and I asked. "Why didn't you just get a passport and fly?"
and his response was "That sounded too easy, I wanted a challenge."

Interesting dream man XD

Last night I dreamed about having on purple mascara, and getting complimented for it.
It was pretty awesome, but nothing I'd ever wear seriously in the Waking! XD

First I dreamed about a giant, dormant robot, who turned out to be my gen, Cornsilk. Claris was standing on her for some reason.
Cornsilk was talking to someone and made some funny comment about "Iiii LIKE it!" but I can't remember what she was referring to now.

Then there was a stable of awesome horses . One side was all stone horses, except for one empty stall, but when you got closer you realized that it wasn't empty, the horse was just invisible.

I had a dream snippet with a 3D animated head that looked like NiGHTS, except it was blue, and instead of horns, it had small stubby octopus tentacles XD
It was cute, though.

I also dreamed about going back to my old house and seeing how the area I used to grow my garden in looked, and there was something about superheros working for some organization, and some of them were being stripped of their powers for political reasons. Even in dreams, politics messes peoples' lives up!

I dreamed that I rode my bike to McDonald's and bought two hamburgers and some fries, then biked back to some orphanage without really knowing the way, and shared.
Weird, huh?

Last night's dream was a huge convention, but it was a mix of themes. A lot of people from the NiGHTS fandom were there, plus a friend from elementary school, and there were fireworks exploding in the shape of Megaman characters. But I was commenting to a friend how it was a Dragonriders of Pern convention and it was a wonder that there were no animatronic dragons.

And everyone wanted the con's signature T-shirt, which was a pink unicorn with pink bullets flying past, on a white base.
But the only store at the convention didn't carry them, and we were all wondering what sense that made.

I was disappointed to wake up, that was an awesome convention! Plus the admission was free. XD

Last night was so bizarre, it's really hard to explain.

First I was in my mom's old room at our old house, with my cousin playing my Saturn, which for some reason was in that room instead of mine.
She got to some point where the screen started a distorted parody of the Yellow Submarine cartoon, then became an actual scene (In my dream anyway. It was still wrong) Only then one of the characters said something about Reala.
I was telling my subconscious to remember just what was said, but no luck...

Then I was at some Sonic themed themepark, still with my cousin, but this time with her two sisters as well as some dream friends. I remember someone being impressed because I spotted a kid with a Sonic ice cream pop, and knew what it was.
I went wandering into a sort of alley with food stalls and a big brightly lit building like a fun house.
Only once inside, it was a person behind a desk and all the visitors were seated in a sort of waiting room until we were allowed to go through the open doorway.
And I realized a little too late that I had seen a commercial for this (in the dream) and it was a haunted hospital walk through attraction. And sure enough, the guy from the counter came out in green scrubs, and started to chase me. So I ran then yanked out my camera - which of course completely failed to take pictures. It was actually replaying some video I'd taken when in photo mode!
And then something in my subconscious went "But electronics malfunction when real ghosts are around, so- uh oh..."
And I ran back to the waiting room and hid around a corner and the guy went right past. Then he spotted me and came over and that was about it for that segment.
It was fun, though. It would make a pretty decent attraction for the real world.

I forgot most of last night's dream, but part of it involved Tails on some spring loaded jump points, trying to get the prizes overhead. Only there were two side by side, and one required Tails' head to go into some helmet, like an old deep sea diver's. I think he ended up giving up on that one.

A Sonic dream! I don't have many of those.

It was gameplay, but of no levels I'd ever seen before, and it was all cartoon animation. It was also retro style, like SonicCD! (yay!)
I just remember that Sonic made it through a doorway but a screen sprang up right behind him to keep Tails from following. Then Sonic was springing from one floating platform to another, and they kind of looked like tops, except not spinning. He finally got through that, only to somehow get captured and tied up.
The ropes fell away as part of the game to let him face the boss, but he died somehow. Then on his next life, the game seemed to glitch and he was placed right where he head died, tied up.
The funny thing was that the in game Sonic seemed to know something was wrong since he kept glancing nervously back and forth. A further glitch kept the ropes from coming off, so he of course died again.

Come on, subconscious! I know that Sonic has the worst fandom around, but don't take it out on the character!

This was a good one!

Haunted Mansion ride again. I was sitting in one of the cars, but the ride had broken down. I was stuck right in front of a very friendly robotic apatosaurus head and neck. It was sort of fleecy and soft, and was pretty fun to associate with. I think it was also sort of a muted pink and green, though my subconscious didn't find that unusual.
When I finally came out to complain that the ride wasn't moving, it turned out that someone was trying to take over and change the rides.
I had some kind of code hidden in my pocket that the villain needed in order to take over, so I was constantly having to convince him that I didn't have it. I was apparently heir to whoever had written the code and made the ride (who for some reason wasn't Walt Disney), so I was protecting their legacy.

Then I was out in the main park with some dream friend who hadn't been on a roller coaster. So I told her we were going on Splash Mountain (I meant Space Mountain, though)
But then we passed a stall selling massive ice cream cones with every topping you could imagine, and beyond that were Halloween decorations, which I couldn't resist. So I sort of got sidetracked...

I attended another dream convention last night! Everyone there was participating in some contest.
As I walked in, some weird, hand drawn looking guy stopped me and said he was a fan. he made me sign something for him, then held my hand a little too formally.

Then I was in some pool and realized i was included in a video someone was recording.

Then I got out and went wandering. I found my mom sitting with some random guy, and discovered that he had won the prize that I donated, which was a coupon for ice cream.

As I wandered i found my way into a sort of library that was also the selling area. I spotted what at first looked like an artist's desktop mannequin. But it was a slender female, in a box called "The Curious Princess" with the character drawn on the sides. It was apparently a cartoon character.

I met up again with the guy who won my prize and we got talking, until a boy came in, crying about not wanting to be Michael anymore. So I was hugging him and telling him that's one of my favorite names for boys.
Only somewhere along the line he became my eldest niece, so we told each other we loved them, and then I started teaching her how to be successful through her behavior.
I pretty much said that as long as you're confident, you're more likely to get what you want. (Which is true outside of dreams, too.)

Lastly I teamed up with my cat, Piewacket to practice this. I instructed her to hunt for mice inside some factory while I creeped through for no real reason.
The place became more like a lighthouse where an old man lived, who looked like the old groundskeeper type out of Scooby Doo XD

The guy realized someone was there and started looking for me. Luckily, my tendency to start floating or flying kicked in about then, so I was gliding through the place until I found a door that led outside.
Then I was able to fly out and hide behind a bush as he came out.
Since flying is faster than running, he assumed that he was mistaken when he couldn't see anyone running away.


That was an odd one!

Another themepark dream!
This one was more like a fair, but they had a portable version of the Haunted Mansion ride, and at one point I asked my cousin to go on it with me.
My second cousins also made a brief appearance, but not much happened there.

I wonder why I keep dreaming about themeparks and the Haunted Mansion ride?

I dreamed about a community virtual pet site called MegamiSmile.
The founder was talking into some bushes to someone with some sort of Japanese accent, about whether or not she could continue to help with the site. It somehow turned into some guy telling the story of how he had thwarted a thug from mugging him.

I was half awake by that point, but then I heard "Sweetie?" in my left ear (the ear facing the open side of my bed)
That was kind of eerie, so I decided to wake up fully.

I've been writing my dreams the old fashioned way lately, to avoid forgetting them.

But last night was the first dream where I noticed the changing text. They say that you can tell you're dreaming when you read some text, then look elsewhere, before reading again. if the text is different, then you are dreaming. I was dreaming about checking emails and the email text changed, alright!
Pretty interesting.

My dream itself was something about having a friend (who I think was meant to be Mayshing from DA) over, and then deciding to use her swimming pool (I don't know if she really has one)
Some older guys who I assumed were my older brother's friends came to join us.

There was a small scene of me brushing the top of some scaffolding with my hands, and the building rebuilt itself and became a tower, Except that it was a 2nd person view of myself.

Another HM inspired dream! (Haunted Mansion)

It was a large supermarket type building and started out fairly normal, but it because more and more Halloween themed, with cheesy animatronics and actors. In particular, there were three living statue actors who for some reason were behaving more like zombies than living statues. I got mad at them in the dream when they wouldn't stop converging on me.

I explored the various props and animatronics before returning to the actors with a dream friend who just sort of came out of nowhere.
At that point, I had decided to act like a werewolf. An odd choice of characters for me XD

dreamed about eating roast chestnuts last night.
This is weird because I have never had a roasted chestnut, though I did see a street vendor shelling some once and they did look tasty...

I had another of those dreams where it's more like watching a movie.
it was some story about a well known drama instructor who was convinced to take on a student she felt wasn't good enough, and then became impressed enough to help them enter some acting contest and try to help them win.

I can't recall more details than that, but it was entertaining.


My second dream was definitely inspired by the Halloween group I just joined. I of course, dreamed it was Halloween, only my logic knew that it wasn't. So I had a kid trick or treating at my door (back at my old house where I usually dream myself) and I realized I had no candy.
So I raced into my room (Current house, old room before i moved into my current suite) and scoured the book shelves lining the wall for candy.
I found an unopened bag of hard candies and ran back to give some to the kid, who by then had vanished into thin air. I guess even figments of my imagination get impatient? XD

I had an awesome series of dreams last night!
First there was something about a hotel and a living jointed doll. Then I had a pool.

The best though, was dreaming about Ruth, the white dragon from the Dragonriders of Pern books.
He was completely charming and true to character in the dream.

Lots of water last night.
It was like a massive waterfall, but with lots of shallow areas where the water just flowed, and stone walls built in where for some reason the water flowed over the top, even though it was low on either side.
It was very warm water too, it was pleasant to relax in.

The dream went on in a less pleasant direction, but that was the highlight.

SMP FIlms dream!

I was at a carnival talking to some guy I'd met there, when Cory Williams came up behind me and smashed an egg on my back (because this was apparently a daily theme of his)
So I laughed it off "Oh, is today my turn?" and we chitchatted a little. I whipped out my camera to film the hijinks and he scolded me for not looking at his shadow art - which was literally a shadow on the wall that stayed when he stepped away. It looked like Astroboy's shadow, actually. (Cory does sort of have that cowlick going...)

Cory and the shadow then faced each other and did a brief skit before the dream dissolved into something more abstract. I think it involved a mall somehow.
At one point i went past some street corner and I was happy because there were a few food stands being set up, various ethnicities.



But I've never played hostess to Cory in my dreams before, so that was pretty cool.

Dragons galore last night!

First there were two guys riding dragons, but they were too legged dragons, with wide bellies and stubby tails.

Then it cut to My Little Pony for some reason, where the earth ponies were wearing magic bracelets (or would they be anklets on them?) and that was how they picked things up without unicorn horns.

Then it was more dragons, but the bracelets were their treasure. Except that each had only half a bracelet and nobody realized what they were.
Then someone figured out that each is just one half of a circle and it was a huge magical revelation. No, really?


Then it was a Dragonheart style world, with a knight teaching about dragons and saying how each dragon had a personal gem.
Their student got all excited and started to go running off, so the knight told him off pretty bad. "You Must NEVER Kill a Dragon for its Gem!"

Then they came across a big orange dragon that was in bad shape and the kid was getting ideas again. Until the dragon confessed that he had already given his gem to his rider.

Wow, i need to uodate more often! My dreams keep fading as soon as I'm awake, though.

The last good one was a huge assembly room, like a school gym. Except it was supposed to be some sort of ride.
There was a big grayish T Rex torso jutting out of the wall next to the door, but we all had to leave because "the ride was broken"
