Guess what happens next

Here a person say something and you have to guess what happens next, if it's wrong then you correct them and finish the story. If it's right then you let them know, and don't forget you take turns. (It's kind of hard to explain)

for example "A boy finds a Dreamcast but...what happens next?"
"it's dirty?"
"No, A boy finds a Dreamcast but....it's broken.

I'll start off with, A boy is walking with his mother and he sees a stray cat, so...

He picks it up and pets it.

Nope, he asks his mom if he could keep it
